We can imagine we are at Sans Souci with Frederick the Great! Thanks for posting this flute concerto. Thanks for creating this channel
Qantz's music always bubbles along - with the soloist and the orchestra answering each other - the soloist is brilliant a demanding piece for soloist and orchestra - love it.
One of my all time favorites. Quantz wrote the definitive guide On Playing the Flute, The Classic of Baroque Music Instruction.
Excelent.
Wow! Very impressed by this composer. Beautiful concert and magnificent music! 😍
Delightful gem.
The wonderful world of JJQ!
Esto si es música
I prefer a Quantz concerto to a Vivaldi one in many cases, I know it's not always good to make comparisons but he deserves some of that attention that's usually lavished on Vivaldi!
Extraordinary!!!
🥰💕
Well put! No, seriously. Quantz is just a lovely composer, I sure hope to upload much more from him (the flautist in me will be sure to not let me forget).
I think this piece sounds like a post-Vivaldi concerto.
Quantz has a very Italian style. A lot of his concerti sound very much like Vivaldi.
What a colorful contrast after the previous centuries baroque ...
