I'm 58 so this was my Era of music. They don't make music like this anymore. No auto tune needed. This was our Sebastian Bach! His voice was off the charts but so was his ego. One of the reasons the band broke up way too early.
The actual drummer who is in this video is Rob Affuso and is the most recognized drummer for this band because he was the guy during their popular years right from the beginning. I went to school with him in Wallkill, NY about an hour north of NYC. True gentleman, great family.
Sebastián Bach has an amazing voice with a great back up band. The song is just amazing with an awesome set of lyrics which just means so much that touches the soul. Great reaction to an epic song.
Skid Row was a good live band in concert. The lead singer is very charismatic (and good looking) with an amazing voice. Women back in the day went crazy for him... '18 and Life' should be next.

It certainly sounds good live because I went to one of their shows here in Brazil in August/1992. But when they arrived, it was already from the peak to the decline in his ability to sing like this, sustaining so many high notes for so long, so with the crazy life he led, he certainly managed this performance for a few years only. But the good thing is that his voice is real, not a montage of tunes, which shows how talented and qualified a solo or band singer had to be to be successful at that time. Every 80's and 90's

I see you feel like we all did when Skid Row, but mainly Sebastian Bach hit the scene 😅 We all were in ❤ with this beautiful man, the only problem was that he knew it and it went to his head!! 😅 Sebastian was classically trained but obviously had Rock n Roll in his soul!! My bdrm went from pink n white to posters and magazine pages of Sebastian and a few other's 😂...and almost all of those were just the person, not the entire band 🙃 "18 and Life", "Wasted Time"(about a close friend of his who got deep into drugs), "Youth Gone Wild", etc...Are all great! But Wasted Time was Sebastian pouring his heart and soul out to his friend and is incredible 😢❤
When you say it's 80's it's a big compliment. The decade with great music. I had Wasted time on my list for you, but this is another good power ballad. I only give great recommendations. Other power ballads by them - Wasted Time, In a Darkened Room, 18 and Life or heavier songs - Youth Gone Wild, Slave to the Grind and Monkey Business.
