Not only were we the first hip hop group to sign with a major record company. ...we were also the first group to coin the word " Freestyle"....on a title...of a session....yup

Full disclosure: I saw the Fearless Four when they opened for New Edition at Empire Skating Rink in Brooklyn. The show was dope, but when I saw Krazy Eddie rock the aftershow party, I said to myself, "I wanna do THAT!" He was in a glass DJ booth overlooking the rink and just put it down with a vengeance! That was my calling. He straight-up inspired me. That was in '83. To this day I'm still going! I hope by chance he reads this comment. All praises due.

One it gave birth to the great posse cuts that would follow and also it was what they label now, the notorious B side to Problems of the World today. Amazing. I still can recite most of the lyrics like it was 1984 again.

The Fearless Four were one of the most underated & uncredited groups in hip hop history. They were one of the groups that kept hip hop relevant when radio didn't play much rap during the daytime. Songs like "Problems of the World" and "Rockin' It" were too good to ignore for daytime radio. And DLB may be the most underated mc of all time!
