Mick Jagger.... Nobody sounds like him. He has put his mark on the history of music on a level with very few others. Legendary. 1,000 years from now people will know his name.
Now you simply must hear the cover of Wild Horses by Susan Boyle, studio version. The voice of an angel, you would never know this song was by the Following Stones! It belongs to Susan now!
This is an alternate take of WH so not the one that we all grew up hearing, but still beautiful. And for you it is all new so you are hearing a pure Mick vocal..
Love the Stones, Mick had the swagger for sure. I thought if you were interested, I'd suggest another band "Steve Miller Band - The Joker " (Live) Steve Miller Band is one of the staple bands of classic rock. There music was also heavily influenced in the blues, but they are considered classic rock n roll because of many of these artists and musicians crossed over into other genres of music. Which was wonderful because it showed them maturing and growing as musicians. It also exposed them to a broader audience of people. Which in turn helped to grow their fans. Nice reaction thanks for sharing👍
Good Day JM, you have done 6 Pink Floyd Pulse Tour Songs.... THANK YOU. I can do a concert on my big screen using your videos. Every song in the show is awesome BUT... PLEASE do "Great Gig In The Sky".... Like nothing you have ever heard before. I want to add it to my collection of your reactions. Have a Successful Day
Keith Richards, thechildhood friend and guitarist who writes & produces most of their music & lyrics with Mick Jagger, supposedly wrote the main melody and first lyrics for his children. He was basically a single father to his young son Marlon most of the time and the boy had to see too much off his father's drugfilled days on the road. His daughter was living with his mother because him and his girlfriend couldn't take her and he couldn't take care of a second kid on the road. His longtime life partner & kid's mother Anita Pallenberg was a far worse addict than him (she actually got The Stones into heavy drugs in the first place and almost ended them when he got caught with their double stash in Canada while she was off with her boyfriend in France) and left the kids' care to him usually. He wrote this soon after his second son died at just 10 weeks old staying with Anita while he was on tour. There is a very touching video of him singing along to the first mix in the studio with closed eyes.
Has anyone recommended Brown Sugar by the Stones. There has been a few discussions over the fact that he could have singing about a girlfriend or a certain kind of drug. Listen to it and see what you think. I enjoy your thoughts and reactions.
What a beautiful version, not the original. The electric guitar is replaced by very beautiful guitar harmonics and there are no harmonies. I think I like this better. Lovely, makes it sound more emotional. Keith wrote this for his first child, Marlon. I dont know who the lyrics alluding to a woman refer to, but Keith himself said this was written for his boy .

"You know I can't let you slide through my hands" in my opinion John, Paul and George and Bob could write such lyrics thanks Keith and Mick!!
And he will still be alive 😅
Hangin out writing tunes with Keith@@christopherhuot2826

One of my “cry” songs, lol.
Not the original recording, but just wonderful. I've sung and played this song more times than I can count over the years. Always enjoyable.
"Waiting On A Friend".... One of the best from The Stones.
Not even close!
