  • Landscape Photography Assynt. In this video, I create images I believe to be worthy of huge prints. This is part II of my trip to Assynt.
    Part 1 of 4 • Photographing Assynt, ...
Part 2 of 4 • Creating pictures wort...
    Part 3 of 4 • Outstanding Landscape ...
    Part 4 of 4 • Landscape Photography ...
Today was going to be a day of adventure as we headed towards the northern end of Assynt. I had a place in mind to try and find and it was a case of stopping and shooting anything and everything along the way.
    Wow, what a day!
I believe I created a few amazing Landscape shots, even though I say so myself. Landscape Pictures worthy of huge prints. You don't get to say that every day!
I like to challenge myself and this day was no exception. I called it the 15-stop challenge. If you're not a fan then please don't worry. I only took 2 shots using my big stopper. The landscape I was shooting didn't warrant me using it later in the day. No need to force the issue!

Maybe remove the backwards road sign on the right off on the distance. Or maybe create a yellow sign graphic with Jagged line for rhe mountains and a camera body/lense graphic in the style of a road side sign with universal graphics. Kind of a hidden knodd to close lookers. Lol.

Some really stunning images there. Tip when taking pictures on sand use old CDs for the tripod feet. Sorry but when I am told not to suggest... LOL

This is a great video, beautiful photography. The road with the mountains at 2:10 and the black and white tree at 4:50 are really great, worth to print big.
I like also the bridge in black and white and last pano in b/w, all beautiful photos!

Got a few videos up from Assynt, Suilven, Stac Pollaidh etc. If u get a spare 5 mins check them out. Looking forward to your next one...has to be Murray? Lol cheers and thanks for making.

This video was stunning. My favorite was the cabin in front of the lake B&W version. I'll always choose B&W I think :) The only thing I miss are the facts about each image - I know I know it takes a long time in post processing to get video, images all put together, but I try to see how I could transfer the knowledge here in my dreary state. Not a biggie. Can't wait to see who you climb a mountain for as well as the next weeks video Thank you sir for taking me to places I'll never be :)

@@GaryGough There are some beautiful bays one is Sanna, in summer looks tropical. Some beautiful moss and lychen covered old oaks. The lighthouse is fantastic too. Enjoy when you get there.😊📷

Where is that wee bothy by the loch, just after you mentioned the mystery guest and going up the mountain? We're heading up that way in a few weeks in our motorhome and that is a cracking shot.

Very inspiring and beautiful pictures Gary. I have been to this area but did not get much time to explore in detail when I was doing North coast 500 all round trip. Specially that bridge called Kylesku, but at that time in summer there was no snow, great shot. What was the name of your hideout where you stay and took the picture of that tree, next time I may choose the same place.

Another great video/images. My favorite image is them all, but if I was to be very picky, your own favorite image, I would take out the black clouds on the top left, as I find it distracting, but that's just me. Look forward to your next video, you could always sit in the car and send the drone up. Good luck, lol
