It is much cheaper to make lunchable then to buy them and the quality is better.
Go momma! Love these! Tip- if you freeze the juices applesauce and yogurt, it doubles as an ice pack.
+Sharing Our Life Brilliant! xoxo
Sharing Our Life ya it does
Love these! Another tip..for apples, try soaking them in 100% pineapple juice! My boys love it when I do that, it makes them a little sweeter...sometimes with the lemon juice they get too tart...and they never brown by lunch! Typically I do it the night before, let them soak just a min or 2 then make lunches and they are still fresh by lunchtime the next day
Super lunches. You are making your children very happy. What a great mom you are. I just remember your sporty daughter's request for more protein. Maybe this list will be of assistance (most sources agree with the following data):
1 cup milk = 8 grams of protein
1 egg = 6 grams
1 cup cottage cheese = 30 grams
1 cup plain yogurt = 12 grams
average size chicken drumstick = about 10 grams
average size chicken thigh = about 10 grams
3 oz chicken breast = 27 grams
3 oz turkey breast = 26 grams
3 oz lean beef = 21 grams
beef and fish and pork in general = about 7 grams of protein per ounce
3 oz ground pork, cooked = 22 grams
3 oz ham = 19 grams
1 slice bacon = 3 grams
1 oz soft cheese e.g. Camembert = 6 grams
1 oz medium cheese e.g. Cheddar, Swiss = 7 or 8 grams
1 oz hard cheese e.g. Parmesan = 10 grams
According to government guidelines, a girl your daughter's age needs about 50 grams of protein per day, but the requirement for your daughter is probably higher as she does sports. I wish your daughter a very successful season.
Please keep your lunch videos coming. They are invaluable for people without much imagination (like yours truly). Thanks again.
+TheRoby73 Thanks for the info that's great!! You gave me some great ideas for her.
These are super adorable and resourceful! Thank you!
Masterpieces of love! How fun for your family to look back on these later?!?
Love the homemade lunchables!
thank you for this wonderful idea!! ive been looking to find new ways to make my daughter's different lunches!!!
Absolutely love these videos and tips. Am struggling to get my , very fussy, little guy, to eat more and healthily!! After having watched this vid with me he has agreed to let me put some Nutella in one of the little dips/sauce containers!! Result, yay am stoked lol. Thanks for sharing xxxxx
Great ideas, it makes sense as Lunchables are pretty much the same thing. I shall share this with some friends, thanks and keep up the amazing work!
I love videos like this. TFS
Love this idea! Going to have to get some containers so I can make these for my kids!
I love every single one of these ideas
This is so cool - going to copy your ideas and make lunchables for my boys! Thanks for sharing your ideas.
Awesome idea, I'm going to try this for my daughter, thank you!
This looks great, we do something similar and call it bento even though it's not. I use silicon baking cups to divide up spaces that are too large.
to to keep apples from turning brown without using lemon juice you can take your apple core and use it like you normally would except don't let the car go all the way down is to pierce it all the way through and just take a rubber band and put the Apple back together and it'll hold it in place and the Apple won't turn brown
thanks for sharing love these videos. awesome ideas!
great idea 💡 i hate regular lunchables but these look wonderful. thanks for sharing 😃
I had never thought to make lunchables my 4 year old loves them. definitely have to try this for when he starts school. love watching your videos.
Excellent video, tfs!!!
Great idea kimmy for my son and I. ☺💜
what a great idea..when my kids were little I used to spend lots on those lunchables
I love the little square container from the dollar tree I got one too after I saw your video! I put hummus in the little circle part and then put carrot sticks and pretzel chips for my daughter to dunk in the hummus!
WOW. SO creative!
Cool idea and cost effective.
Great job. Cool Mom!
this is so neat! you’re such a good mom
love these!! i will using these tips, thank you
the "i wanted 2! also 3." in the background is so relatable. lol
so fun, you did awesome!!! I've been making the lunchable for about 5 yrs now..I refuse to buy the store bought ones, I just put everything my daughter likes, chickpeas, cucumber, olives, crackers, scrambled eggs, cheese etc..
I got the same containers at the Dollar Tree for my daughter they had Frozen ones for one dollar!!, awesome lunch ideas thanks for sharing :)
love these!!♡
Looks great!!!
U go girl u are a true inspiration
"hi, I'm Shaylee!" Haha. She kills me every time. ☺️
Do these each week? I love the inspiration! YUM!
Great tips. Love this. Do they leak at all?
U got almost as many kids as me...dont u just love em...great tips mom..
Great job!! My kids love these types of lunches. Do those containers leak? I bought the lunchblox for each one of my kids this year to cut back on baggie usage. Going well so far, I just wash them each day. A second set would be nice, but if the dollar tree containers work that would be cheaper! Thanks
great job!!! make me one..lol love ya girlie!! ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Lol, people making this for their kids....I'm making it for myself.
Yumm! What a good mama :)
I might make this but with a couple extra potatoes to make it thicker! Yummmm.
Yum! Those look delicious :)
This was so long ago it seems. Shaylee so little. I love the way her hair was fixed.
Awesome! We have the same containers except our dollar tree only had the avengers ones and my daughter was kind of ticked. The stickers peel right off extremely easily, so now she just has a plain container. I need to go back and grab like five more. Who knows how long they'll be there for.
your such a great mom :)
great job
Nice!!
Great video
my son loves when I make him lunchables for lunch. looks yummy
The rectangle case is nice but won't fit it the dumb shopping lunch box my husband bought my daughter! But the square one might I'll have to see if they still carry them!
My father in law's favorite color is hot pink. lol
Those lunches look amazing! Two more years before I get into that! lol
super cute out of my three girls are NOT sandwich kid so this is great.... going to try and make these
awesome
my kids arent in school yet, but i love these ideas!
Where do you put the ice pack in the lunchbox? Does it fit with the container?
awesome 👍☺
That's a great idea. I'm gonna try to make this. If you don't mind me asking how many kids do you have? I heard a lot of kids names and a bunch of lunchables
I'm sitting here getting ideas for my 6 year old's lunch! Hi Shaylee! I love her!:-)
I love this idea my 10 year old watch the video with me and she can not wait thank you!
Oh my goodness, I have just made the same comment above, and I hadn't read down the comments til after! Ha ha must be something to do with 10yr olds and lunchables lol xxxx
Damn how many kids you got💪🏼
How old is Boston?
how old are they? i have a five year old and I'm trying to compare amounts
You cant beat Dollar Tree for lunch containers :)
I promise this comment is not to come off judgmental at all, I'm just curious why you choose to send the dried fruit vs fresh? I go grocery shopping every 3 weeks and on that last stretch before grocery day I usually scrape by with applesauce pouches & fruit cups so I get it but I thought maybe your kiddos like the dried better. I picked up the same containers from the dollar store. I peeled off the stickers and my hubby uses them too, they are perfect. Keep the lunch box videos coming please :)
SoCrazyInLove13 maybe that's what her kids like . Good grief.
Steelers Girl Steelers Girl Good Grief?? Are you blind? I said I was curious, not being judgmental. People are so quick to comment on other people's posts in a negative way. A year later too, which is pretty funny. Am I not allowed to ask HER a simple question?
✨Great video for 🎒back to school🏢 2017! Many thanks!👧
Why tf am I watching this at 2 AM?
I didn't know lemon juice stopped the apples from turning! You're brilliant!
Or orange juice, for bananas as well.
2:55 she said frozen dried apples
After he get home form school you need to check there lunch box if day eat all of there lunch and there snack and Drink
I do sincerely want to apologize to you I was tryin to make a comment about a store and some one took it the wrong way. I hope that you accept my apology and know I truly enjoy your videos
+mallisa33 Don't worry.
People just love to cause problems. Ignore them, sweetie.
Yes yes YESSSSS the real brand lunchables taste gross the homemade ones are better and healthier
why does she keep saying boston
Boston is my son.
She's In Her Apron yea but u kept saying this is bostons luch when there were different types of foods
emma cheney different days of the week
LynneUK1 oh
@@Emmagymnastics_lover_ Pretty sure she feeds him lunch every day. 😅
I bought my first apron. No pockets though :(
EW
Not one green thing in the whole box tho. Lots of processed fat, carbs, sugar and sodium but nothing fresh and green. Why not a fresh apple? Maybe some carrot sticks and grapes.
There were carrots....
There were dry apples and normal apples
The original is better!!!!!
That is sooo crazy! You feed your kids all kinds of bull s.... but buy the "Organic" fruit snacks!!?? come on! as much food as you buy and have on hand at one given time, you might as well buy less and go completely organic.
