- In today's video I’m going to show you how to DIY 4 of the most popular store bought, ready to eat, kid lunches (also known as LUNCHABLES)
Now don’t get me wrong, I am not throwing any shade at lunchables at all. LUNCHABLES can be super convenient AND I’m definitely a fan on lunchables for when we’re traveling or when we go on field trips!
BUT I think the great thing about making your own lunchables are that they’re super quick and easy to put together, making them yourself means, you can customize the items, you can swap ingredients out for healthier options if you’d like AND you can definitely save a LOT of MONEY!!

she has children, and the only way she can do lunches for adults is for her to show her lunches and her husbands but they probaly arent as cute as the kids

I can't remember who does it off-hand, but there is a woman who shows what she puts in her husband's lunches a week at a time.

I LOVE THE FAMILY FUDGE
The best part about this for me is saving all that packaging and plastic that comes with a lunchable. The way you've done yours creates way less waste! Obviously lunchables are fine for a connivence item but if you're buying those all the time it is a total waste of money. Your lunches look better and are healthier too, love that!

Oh my gosh Jennifer my kiddos love lunch a bowl‘s I totally agree home made is definitely better. But I can make the same exact thing and my kids will always go for the lunch a bowl instead isn’t that funny.

Our first son will be born next Wednesday and I’m not rushing him to grow up, but I can’t wait to pack his little lunches finally more to do than just my fiancé’s lunch lol they will both have special cute lunches

Absolutely love this!! Our school lunches are only $1.50 so it’s worth it to us for our kids to eat at school and they get good balanced meals. The school sends home a calendar every month of what school lunches are gonna be so if there is something the kids won’t like we can pack them something. My kids are not very picky though. This will save me though on lunches for trips to town and vacation trips. 👍
Hi, Jennifer! I love how you're proving it's less expensive and more fun to make your own Lunchables. My favorite homemade Lunchable is one with cubes of cheese, meat and vegies made into tiny kabobs on cocktail picks, paired with pretzels, olives and pickles. I'd have mine with some mixed berries as my fruit. For a snack I'll add mixed nuts and my treat would be half of a Lily's Coconut and Dark Chocolate bar. Oh, and for a beverage I'd have Decaf Iced Tea. So delicious!!

Wow, I’ve never seen a lunchable that looks like that! I live in Ontario, Canada and the lunchable doesn’t come in a box. It’s just packed in a plastic container and it doesn’t come with a drink. I’m not even sure if Canada has Capri suns, I’ve never seen them before.
I haven't seen capris since school. But haven't really looked for them though. Originally from NL.
But yeah, we get the sad lunchables apparently in Canada for like twice the cost. 😂
They have it in the UK but it looks different and it's pronounced (kap ri sun)

I love making home lunchables. Adding the healthier options make them better and not as much of a junk food. I love the cheese and crackers one (I don't eat the meat cause I'm vegetarian)

My favorite from childhood was the pizza that had the cheese sauce and the pizza sauce; and the chocolate frosting. But my adulthood favorite was the nacho one it had the beef, and the cheese, it’s also had the sauca
I found the sandwich press/cutter in the panda and pig shape but not the snack containers. Now I have to go to the other target in town to find them! So cute!

LOVE LOVE LOVE this video! I always love watching and referencing your videos for fun lunch ideas for my 2 kiddos. Even though they are not in school just yet they are still fun to make while at home. I have noticed since doing more “fun” style lunches my 4 year old son eats more of it. Lol.
I am wondering though and I truly check amazon EVERY.SINGLE.DAY waiting for your lunch kits to become available in the blue and purple lunch boxes.
I have enjoyed your lunch videos as well as the tour of your space. I will never have all the pieces and supplies you have nor do I really need it all but I have LOOVED picking and choosing all the pieces that will work for me and my kids. I got new job as a substitute camp teacher. At a year round (track out) camp. So I really need lunch ideas. That don’t need to use a microwave. As the preschools that I substitute at and very very small private school I work at. All have ways can heat my lunch and keep in a refrigerator. So now am in need of lunch ideas! And I like that you listed the prices of your own homemade lunchables. Yet I am a adult I am more of a big kid at hart. So actually like your version is better then the lunchables. Plus it’s so much healthier. Also it better for the environment which is a win-win for me!
Really appreciate your lunch videos love that you. Make the lunch healthy but realistic healthy. As in you still have fun food but find ways of making it healthier. As much as possible you always have a fruit and vegetable. And you try to include a meat and dairy. And you still include sweet treats and snacks/juices. I appreciate that you always try to also do more environmental Options. It’s really nice that you try to also help the environment. Thank you

I love lunchables because they are convenient but… They are not the healthiest and pricey. So this helped a lot and I will be using this for this school year
I always supplement a lunchable with a fruit and veggie on the occasion I pack one for my son. Makes it healthier.
The nacho and the the sandwich lunch able are my favorite.
Can you do some lunches for sensory issues? (Not too many different textures, nothing super flavorful, comfort foods mostly.)

The dollar store has came out with bento type containers. They have a container VERY similar to the sisters lunch cubes, and then they have a bento box. If to7 could do some cute affordable lunches with those, I’m sure it’ll be a hit!

I like this idea for myself. I'm vegan, a hangry woman and get bored from my go to easy vegan lunch wich is just bread and hummus and some fruit/veggies for snacks. I also live in netherland where lunchables aren't a thing but i always thought lunchables where fun for lunch. You gave me the idea to make vegan "lunchables" and also healthier
