Tavy@ i always thought charlie nicholas was the most skillfull player in scotland during the 1980s. He was brilliant. But i have saw him shirk the tackle at least 5 times that i remember, plus he wasnt great in the air, the way brian mclair was and frank mcgarvey. But charlie had great vision, he was a player great with the ball at his feet but couldnt win you the ball during a hard fierce game where no favours are asked and certainley none were given. Just like an old firm game with 100mph stuff. I have saw charlie go 40 minutes with out even getting one kick of the ball, i wasnt even sure if he was still on the park, no joke.
