Nobody has been able to perfect the around the rim baseline dunk/layup like him before or since. Body control was nuts!
Not even LeBron
he's basketball
MJ was definitely like that too
THE GREATEST COMPETITOR EVER
Closest thing to Michael Jordan ever. A great player in his own right and even a better family man.
After mj in my opinion
Kobe had his 81pts game on his 666th regular season game.
Lebron got his 666th pts as laker in his 81st game as a laker 😳
Vanessa=81
Kobe bean bryant=81
Ritual=81
The number of the beast =81
@@gematriagoon Your IQ=81
Best player on lakers
My favorite athlete of all time, Kobe you will forever be in our hearts. 💛 💜
Kobe was something else, just a different breed. A man on a mission. His footwork, tenacity on both ends of the floor were only matched by a handful of players throughout the history of the game. Just a fantastic all around player and sorely missed, may you rest in peace Mr. Bryant
there will never be another mamba. His desire to win is unmatched
Kobe literally has the best tape out of any player ever 📼
He was the definition of Basketball Superstar....It was breathtaking to see him play
We should’ve been lucky to witness these legendary players and give them their probs while the‘re still alive. One of the most skillful players and toughest shot maker of all time! R.I.P. Mamba May you continue to inspire upcoming generations to strive for excellence 💜💛
Tell that to the Lebron haters
@@skywalker2676 exactly. That was what I meant. Instead of downplaying other players, we should appreciate greatness in general. Kobe, MJ, LeBron etc. have demonstrated in different ways what one can achieve with dedication & determination.
@@inexpugnabilis I appreciate both of them
It's really the middle of the generation, not Jordan or LeBron, Kobe is the number one superstar in me.
Shoot, dunk, drive, defense, all forms (silhouettes) are beautiful.
There are a lot of players who play great, but I think Kobe and Jordan are the only ones who are so picture-perfect.
Mj and kobe were the only two in the history with flawless games
@@gzk13kc28 Both of their games had glaring flaws. I'm not sure what you're talking about.
@@nocturne311 like what?
@@nocturne311 what flaws exactly? Just find one basketball flaw ....I will wait
@@gzk13kc28 Every player has flaws. There hasn't been a flawless player, let alone athlete in general, in history, so using the term flawless to describe a player is flawed in and of itself. Mike and Kobe were both average three-point shooters at best. I don't want to hear about the 1992 Finals, '96 and '97 when the line wasn't as far out, or Kobe's game in which he hit 12 threes - those are all clearly outliers. On a regular night, they were both average three-point shooters.
Neither Mike nor Kobe could guard 4s or even briefly check 5s. They were both great at checking 1-3 but Jordan was getting worn down a bit from dealing with Magic in the post in the '91 Finals and that's why Phil switched Scottie on to Magic. Ron Artest said that Jordan was much stronger than Kobe, so if MJ wasn't checking Magic or guys of that size, Kobe sure as hell wasn't. At least not well. Lol.
Neither Mike nor Kobe was a consistently great passer, although obviously they could be when they needed to be ('91 Finals for Jordan comes to mind again). Regardless, they both have 5/3 turnover ratios for their careers. We just ripped Jayson Tatum for having a 6/4 turnover ratio during a single postseason and yet Jordan and Kobe both had 5/3 turnover ratios for their careers. Kobe's is actually 4.7/3 but we'll round up there.
Conclusion: No athlete is without flaws. Nothing is perfect. Don't use the term flawless to describe something unless you're speaking figuratively. I'm assuming you were speaking literally though since you responded and asked me to point out the flaws in their games. By the way, Jordan is my GOAT and Kobe isn't far behind, so I'm not trying to take anything away from either of them here. No one's game is void of certain holes though.
Man.... Every time I see a Kobe video I'm speechless... The world legend is sometimes thrown around lightly but this man deserves it. Someone who put everything he got into every single thing he did, not only basketball and inspired other people in all different walks of life to give the best of themselves every day. Although we remember this horrific moment due to Kobe and Gianna"s tragic passing, I' would like to spare a thought for the seven other people who died in the accident. Each one of their passings is as painful for theit loved ones. I realise this sounds like a lecture but I really don't intend it to be one at all.
Beautiful tribute to a one of a kind player and human, every town became Bean-town when Kobe visited
I feel like a lot of love and time was dedicated to making this video. These highlights span over 15 years. The video quality and selection of highlights captured what type of player Kobe Bryant was on the court. Athletic. Flashy. Smooth. Skilled. Fearless. Relentless. RIP Mamba. We will never forget you.
Kobes was different. On another level.
during his post-retirement speech
I remembered the words, "I've been told to pass for 20 years, but it was strange that I was told not to pass today."
I loved Kobe when Shaq joked he could get 50 points and he said he couldn't get 60 points...
RIP to A GOAT
It’s cool seeing his rise from coming off the bench and not getting many minutes to being a young phenom then the best player in the league in the 2000s. It’s great.
that's the mamba mentality. He never stopped grinding
Closest thing to Michael Jordan ever. A great player in his own right and even a better family man.
Facts
Yeah not like he raped someone and cheated on his wife😂 dude is a great basketball player but don’t call him a family man. Also made a stupid decision to fly on the day all law enforcement helicopters were grounded due to the bad fog and weather and put his daughters life in jeopardy
Watching the last dance with Michael Jordon. Realizing how he impacted Kobe Bryant. Miss you Kobe. The best ever. God bless
My favorite player ever. In my book he's the goat 🐐 been saying it even before he passed. Kob is super underrated and disrespected when talked about on the all time list by some.
only by younger fans. Anybody that watched the mamba played knows his greatness
R.I.Paradise Mamba. Hope you're schooling the greats who have passed on heavens courts.
my all time favorite player kobe bean bryant the reason he is the reason why i fell in love with basketbal
The greatest winner and warrior of nba history Rest In Peace 💛💜 thank you for everything and inspiring me mamba mentality
but he was a laker
Jordan was a better winner
Happy Belated Heavenly Birthday Kobe! Two years have passed and it’s still a shock he’s no longer with us. 2000-2002 Champion Lakers were my childhood. Then I outgrew them after Shaq got traded to Miami. It was a tough blow for me seeing him and Kobe on opposite sides of the court. But that’s the harsh truth of the world of sports. Kobe to me felt an estranged childhood friend I never had. And outgrowing him during his later years was hard for me to process my grief. Watching these highlights seeing him do what he loved somewhat made it feel better.
We grew up with Kobe never be another one like him for me.
Rip Kobe, Gigi, and rest of the passengers, Prayers to family and loved ones
People sleep over Kobe 360 lay up, it's pure thing of beauty.
Since Afro Kobe
Kobe 8
KoBe 24 ( was my favorite version of him)
I was born in 2001, my cousins loved Kobe it was the first person they told me about in basketball, by time I was 8 I was turning to Boston Celtics vs lakers game my damn self. LLKB👑

LEGEND 🐐🐐🐐👑👑👑
Great Video again.
RIP Kobe.
i waited so long and this is it, i knew u gonna make this for his birthday 🔥🔥
RIP legend
You can see Kobe thinking then adjusting in mid air. Made all those contested finishes possible.
Mamba Mentality 🔥🔥🔥
Half of these are like "Oh no don't take that shot Ko- oh. He hit it. Yeah he hit it."
Bruh this dude did two 360 dunks with a defender on him wtf. He was fearless
When you wad up a piece of paper and shoot it into the trash can from across the room, you don't say Jordan or Duncan or Ewing... you scream KOBE!! And you make that shot! He'll always be the GOAT!
Greatest Laker EVER!!!
Miss him so much
Great choices. Many which are overlooked.
Missing this dude in the world right now
I miss Kobe man R.I.P. to the black mamba 🙏🏽🐍💜💛😢

Rip ❤️🙏🏿🐐
Happy bday to me
And happy kobe day to the greatest eva!!
Max, I know I take playful jabs at you from time to time in relation to VC, but coming from a Celtics fan, thank you for this video.
The evolution of Kobe from #8 to #24 is remarkable. #8 was more athletic, energetic, agile, but was stubborn, at times. #24 was much more skilled, matured/disciplined, determined.
Personally, if I had to choose between the two, I’d have to go w/ #24 simply because he cemented his legacy in that number; he won two straight titles (appeared in 3 straight); got his revenge against Boston in the 2010 NBA Finals.
Happy Birthday Kobe
We miss u and Gigi ❤️
My goat 🐐 even before he passed I just couldn’t take any Kobe slander never even met the man lol #LongLiveBean
He had everything you want in a Gaurd. Size speed athletic showmanship style skills attitude.....special player.
LEGENDE KOBE❤
Rip to the goat aka black mamba 🔥💯🙏😔🐐
Mamba Forever!
Just an all-around phenomenal player. Not a big assist guy, but he didn’t have to be. Solid defender, great in transition, finishing at the rim, mid-range, long-range, and hit the big shots when it mattered the most!
Kobe's bag was just different 🤦🏾♂️ unstoppable
RIP Legend 🐍🏆🏀
forever d best❤️
afro and number 8 kobe was fuckin OP lol it took me til i was older to appreciate his game but man, what a player !
Crazy how far TV's have came watching highlights
Favorite player in the nba rip goat

Prime kobe 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
🐐🐐🐐
TRUE LEGEND
👑BLACK MAMBA ..
FROM 👑LAKERNATION ..
Top 5 Dunker in Nba History very underrateedaybe 3 and top 5 player maybe 2 in my opinion
I think hes #2 right behind Carter. Some can say hes #1. These dunks are fucking nasty as hell.
@@zoebarnes3070 Man Carter was something this man didn't know how to shoot a j in his first years in the league . Just kidding but that MF was winning game with highlight dunk i ve never seen anything like it all dem og had fadeaways for days Kobe Jordan to win games etc but Vince could jump out the gym i mean dunk after dunk after dunk Jordan could elevate and fly Vince could levitate for real . Uncanny
@@zoebarnes3070 not bad take...i have Vince at 1 but at 2..Kobe a good choice but difficult
Kobe is a mixture of Jordan, AI, D Wade, TMac, and Vince Carter no cap. Good video
Did you want to name any other shooting guards from the 90s or 2000s or are you good?
Bean 🐐🐐🐐🐐🙏🏾🙌🏾
We need more Allen Iverson videos though bro. Great work, keep it up
Mamba forever
💜💛4EVER
The goat
How do you pump these videos out so fast.
Kobe Bryan the Goat forever!
