- Finding the point of intersection between the old world and the new along the coast of Gabon. The idea is a romantic one, but what Gabon is now is still central to a lot of Surfer's notions: untouched wilderness, the last stand of certain species, the last outpost of languages and cultures.

The search is just as important as the surf sometimes... well almost as important
I grew up on the beach at a time and place that in the winter even the best spots were empty. I loved to surf but looking at the sport now, if im being honest I sucked something fierce. Im older now and one of my biggest hopes and dreams is that there are waves in Heaven.
God has to enjoy watching his kids rip it up. Or in my case trying to rip it up.
