- In this video, I go over the details of replacing that large plastic engine cover with the half covers from the 392 engines. I discuss the required mods necessary to accomplish this transition as well as where I bought the items from.

I have a JLT intake series 2 on my rt and for some reason my covers won’t fit !
3/4" heater hose will work. A couple dollars a foot.
This video helped alot! one question, where did you get your oil catch can in front? does it come with the bracket?
I got it from billet technologies, the z bracket was an extra cost but necessary with the engine half covers

Your makeshift breather filter does not "work better"....It was designed to be connected to the airbox...therefore it was designed to work properly under vacuum....The way you now have it set up there is nothing pulling the air out of the engine and it will just slowly clog up ....The smarter option would be to connect it to the new airbox...restoring the vacuum needed to operate the Positive Crankcase Ventilation the way Chrysler (and all other car makers) designed it....

Hey bud I bought the same covers for my 2015 Chrysler 300s and my covers fit perfectly flush with a tiny bit of tweaking the diver side I had to grind the front plastic nipple and it all looks factory now 👍🏽 if you have any questions reach out and I’ll tell you what I did to make them a secure fit and factory look ... once again thank you for your video 👍🏽

Those half covers look great on your Challenger. Will they work with a Shaker? if so I wonder what problems I would run into during installation.

New subscriber here, so I have a stock R/T mostly (nothing mechanically done) but if I have and continue to use the stock air intake would the half covers work? I plan on getting a catch soon also
Yes, it should work, I regret putting an after market closed box since the stock one is already a closed box

I want to put a sniper hood on my charger but they have all the vent holes open to engine compartment anyone have any suggestions on how to not water damage the engine but still keep the look
did you mean viper hood? If so, I have an aftermarket viper style hood from BMC on my charger and there's no water damage.

That hose suppose to go in the attachment clearly next to the breather filter you used maybe you knew that and the hose couldn't go in there with the cover on
Yes, I put a different air box and the hose wouldnt work with it or the half covers
Instead of using the 18mm crankcase breather will a 12mm work the same?
Yes, that should work, it'll just be a bit smaller and possibly more restricted
