Thanks for a quick, thorough and easy-to-follow tutorial...best on youtube, imo. There are good vids on here, but most are for a newer model. I was on the verge of tossing mine out; thanks for saving me some cash!
Your basket type spinner bowl is supposed to catch under the lid so it all spins together. Take the lid part and put the spinner basket together. If it doesn't stay attached contact the company. Maybe the lid wasn't pushed down tight enough?

I didn't think it was going to work. . .but it did! Once I figured out that I should spin the bottom of the assembly counterclockwise. Thank you!
