I was a student at that College from 1966-1970 and remember that theatre. It was also used as a cinema. I even appeared in a spoof production of MacBeth.

Hi Guys what a fantastic video on the school/ college buildings so huge on seeing from your filming it a pity you couldn’t see the rest of it but the theatre building was amazing place to see the dome type ceiling was beautiful and seeing the Old Piano in the corner was A Chappels date backs to 1800 + was amazing such a shame to see it in that state and also The Old Victorian Baths was amazing especially the architectural ceiling and the iron hand rails within all were True Gem’s

Church St Swimming pool at Partick cross , Glasgow. Swam many lengths there with the Nomads Swimming Club 1989 -1992.
The other room was used as a boxing gym and had a ring in it. Box on the corner was the janitors area I think.

🤩 I think I was there the day you went in! You lucky blignters , I was there Sun bathing with my Partner in the gardens.
2 guys with rucksacks, just like you were snooping about! My Partner is protective of this beautiful place & shouted over " You won't get in! "
I've been into the building years ago & didn't even know about the theatre! Good job , you show respect for the place.
There are cameras & workmen , regular gardeners & people live at both sides. So I'm happy you didn't breach the rest of this Bonnie building.
Blair's College was designed by the same architect that designed famous Elphinstone University in Old Aberdeen, I'm sure.
I'm sad to hear it's going to become another ' golf ground ' , as you if we need more. 🐱♏☯️🌌

I've swam in the baths, 27yrs ago. It was stunning. I suspect the council is waiting for it to get so bad they can pull it down 😢

We are glad you enjoyed it! The pool wasn’t actually that deep, maybe 2.5m at its deepest point at a guess

8:24 This is a sad one for me because I live local to Church Street baths and it was where our school took us for P.E. When I was in 2nd year in 1997 the pool was closed. These little changing areas were awful because the saloon type doors didn't leave much to the imagination! 😂 Even back then it was a really old and freezing cold because there wasn't any heating. Great video guys 💜
