What is armageddon/how do you get treasure bags on normal?
---Armageddon is a toggle item added by Calamity that, when active, will cause you to instantly die when taking damage during a boss fight. However, should you succeed, you are rewarded with 10 treasure bags, even in normal mode.
Why do you move incredibly fast sometimes?
---Burden Breaker is an accessory added by Calamity that allows the player to reach (mostly) uncapped speeds.

I have seen too many comments about this, so I'll say it: this is an old version of calamity, where you can fire the hawk and bazooka as much as possible per fight. They fixed it later.

MASSIVE DISCLAIMER: Since this run's completion, a lot of stuff has already begun to change about Calamity. The mod is in a constant cycle of updates and additions, and one of the recent updates nerfed the % based damage weapons used in the speedrun. You cannot fire them unlimited times while a boss is alive anymore.

you can infinitely fire them in boss fights if you fire them from your inventory instead of your hotbar

Summoner was almost entirely unviable in 1.3 but in 1.4, it's an insanely powerful glass cannon. More so than mage, which was the original glass cannon archetype.

Kinda late to help you but if u want to know the order of bosses and what items do and make you should get the boss checklist mod and having cheat sheet
Don’t do cheat sheet, use a recipe browser, one of the two encouraged you to cheat, one of them doesn’t

Here's a tip for traversing dark caverns and dark dungeons:
Use the map mode that overlays the map unto your entire screen, use largest zoom out setting for camera and largest zoom in setting for the overlay map mode, very "thin" transparency option so you can still see the enemies & traps.
As you will see, the overlay map perfectly aligns with the world's blocks without parallax, which I refer to as "Cyborg Vision".
It's a really nice benefit to be able to see the outlines of any caves you've explored, you will be able to see pockets that had faint glows and you know where you have NOT been.
This dude beat calamity in 3 hours using a *binder* for a mouse pad and I can’t even beat D.O.G. after 34

I believe it was fargo’s equipable inventory. I disabled it and the damage spikes stopped ruining my playthrough.

Silva armor made him not die, be invincible for a short time and remain at 1 hp. He was going to lose max hp until he dies

You can see that it did hit him and it did I think 208 damage, but because of the silva immunity he didn't die
yep, with the power of silva armor set bonus, he was able to become invulnerable for 8 more seconds so he could land the final blow

I love rewatching these speedruns.
Hey there, really loved this speedrun and actually made me want to get into these types of runs. However, after trying a few tricks you did in this video (mainly the target dummy invulnerability), I realized that the calamity devs patched it, as well as nerf the launcher to easily take out the mech bosses. I don't know if you went back to this since the new update. Either way, really loved the run, hope to see a sub 2 and a half hour run in the future!
