- My first time in a circuit, 10th lap , street tyres (Pilot supersport) and Focus RS completely stock. I think is a good time for my first time in Nürburgring, lot of traffic too. The time can be improve a lot, other year we will try it with more experience

Hugely brave especially as a first attempt! I love that this is with a bone stock RS too, thumbs up.
Look to be right on the edge! Amazing how you are using all the curbing, must know that circuit well. Really shows how much grip the RS has!
tahoe1234x the curbing can be improve a lot, i didn’t have points of reference to brake, because there was my first time. The grip of the RS is amazing, the traccion very funny as well

Muy bien para ser la primera vez, lo unico que te pones demasiado nervioso con el trafico, ten en cuenta que el resto va a lo mismo que tu, pasarlo bien e intentar hacer una buena vuelta. Pitar y dar luces salvo en casos muy extremos no es la mejor solucion.

Hola, primero de todo gran vuelta! Segundo, ya vi tu video cuando lo subiste pero he estado mirando estos días para el tema de las presiones y vi que comentaste en forocoches sobre este tema y me gustaría saber si en el viaje llevaste manómetro (y en este caso cual utilizas?) y/o compresor para inflar o simplemente ajustabas la presión en la gasolinera cada vez que entrabas? He entrado 2 veces a circuito y simplemente le bajaba la presión en una gasolinera antes de hacer la tanda y ahora en Noviembre voy a Can Padró para mi primera tanda libre de 4h y la verdad que me interesaría saber que tipo de manómetro adquirir para ir revisando las presiones cuando pase por box a refrigerar.

Lo primero muchas gracias 👍🏽 En cuanto a las presiones lo que hacia era bajar a la gasolinera bajaba unas decimas, daba una vuelta y volvía a mirar a ver como estaban al estar ya calientes, y volver a ajustar si era necesario. Lo ideal es llevar un manómetro portatil digital, yo lo llevare el próximo año, e ir ajustando después de dar vueltas, es lo que hacían los pros. Un tema muy importante a mi parecer, si ajustas bien eso tienes bastante ganado. Un saludo

Escuboost la verdad que la simulación es una gran base de cara a la realidad. Era mi primera vez en un circuito y encima la dificultad de Nurbur, gracias a la simulación tardé tan solo 2-3 vueltas en empezar a rodar rápido y tranquilo. Mucha suerte en el bautizo, disfrutarás como nunca

try an upsized rear sway bar, it'll correct the slight understeer. mine slides completely neutral now, you can push much harder
What driving mode did you have your RS in? I'm in the US and I just picked up a 2018 Race Red RS. I'm in love with it. I'd love to drive with it on the 'ring but I don't think that'll happen in my lifetime unless I could fly over and rent one. Killer driving amigo!

I can't imagine the time you'd have got on Cup 2s with the slow cars not in your way. No less it was your first circuit.
earlier downshifts would make you quicker, you're getting bogged down below the peak powerband in many slow corner exits

David rossi muchas gracias, la verdad que lo pasé en grande con el RS, es muy divertido. Tema mantenimiento como un coche normal, nada del otro mundo. Si puedes tirarte a por el RS sin duda hay mucha diferencia con el ST, ya solo en el tema traccion es otro coche... Lo tengo completamente de serie y va a seguir así 😅👍🏽

Yo tengo un focus RS y un Subaru STI y el modo de manejo es fuera de serie en las vueltas se agarran hasta con las uñas estos carros los recomiendo sin olvidar que el RS es All wheels Drive y el Subaru tambien la tracción a la hora de las curvas es muy buena en estos carros.

Me sorprendió lo que dijiste de que las ruedas se enfriaron... me fijé bien en como cambias, en como agarras el volante y tal... y entendí todo.
Jonay Díaz es brutal como se nota eso hasta en unas ruedas de calle. El problema fue que hubo un accidente en pista y nos tuvieron parados casi una hora, en ese parón enfriaron una barbaridad
@@julioaldecoa perdóname tío.. no he usado una rueda de calle donde la temperatura se note... básicamente porque están pensadas para trabajar en un rango más amplio. Que puedas notar 200 o 300 gramos de diferencia en la presión me lo creo...
Si usos semislicks tipo Federal, Kumho, Yokohama o cualquiera pero con esos compuestos... pues si creo que lo notas, pero si vas con unas Michelín Pilot Spot o algo así... no se. Yo no he podido notar aún diferencias con las temperaturas en neumáticos estándar. No digo que yo tenga la razón... pero vamos que lo que decae la temperatura en la circunstancias en lo que lo dijiste es ínfimo y si lo notas tienes unos neumáticos defectuosos.
Jonay Díaz Prueba un día a salir del garaje y meterte en la primera curva a unos 130-140, prueba otra vez a hacerla después de haber rodado. Piensa que ese día en pista estaríamos a 2-3º de temperatura, mucho frio, el coche con la ruedas así fría flota, en cuanto coge temperatura es otra cosa.

Me ha gustado como trazas y los RS como siempre espectaculares, pero compi en mi opinion parece que todo el mundo te molesta, le pusistes los OO de corbata al del panamera en el carrusel. Se rueda para divertirse y para sacar una buena vuelta, pero todos pagan lo mismo y todos tienen el mismo derecho no? Pillo sitio para los siguientes videos, x cierto muy buena vuelta y mas con el trafico que habia.

No creo que todo el mundo le moleste, de hecho pasa con bastante precaucion, pero si creo que tal como van los demas conductores algunos deben tenerlo mas en cuenta, coche alcanzado coche sobrepasado, no se debe "competir" cuando un coche ya viene mas rapido que tu y te alcanza, y tu para que no pase ponerte a tirar como un loco como hizo alguno.
Marine avp La verdad que en parte a alguna gente si le costaba echarse a un lado, a mi cuando me venían los porsche de los locales, desde lejos los veía y ya me iba preparando. Es la putada de esto, que tienes que ir con un ojo en la carretera y con otro en el retrovisor. De todas maneras tengo que corregir lo de los pitos y las luces, me entró un poco la prisa y son cosas a corregir. Gracias por tu comentario, un abrazo.

I live in spain and i have 1700 km , so all its possible 😅 The traccion of the rs in the corners is amazing, i can take the corners faster but I didn’t want to take risks without experience, but i’m happy with the time considering is the first time. The car is completly stock, no mods and street tyres 👍🏽

I don’t know how many degrees, but Nurbur is not a circuit that you use much the brakes.

Brother estuvo buena la carrera pero creo que a la hora de hacer las curvas bajas sin bajar las marchas te aumenta mas tiempo porque demoras mas en la recuperacion creo que puedes batir ese record hasta por mas de 30 segundos so corriges eso
Keithen Taylor Se puede mejorar mucho, puedo apurar mucho mas las frenadas y los cambios de marchas, y si cogiera menos tráfico. Pero era mi primera vez en un circuito, para la próxima mejoraremos. Gracias amigo 👍🏽

No, sold it 11 month after I got it. My RS was one of the very first, so I had a lot of struggle with the engine. Anyway, it was an awesome car. So muc fun! Yesterday I got my A35, for sure it‘s not that good on the track, but a nice daily driver! :)

@@1981squirrel you can search up videos for a more In depth explanation just search up "rev matching" (manual transmission only) but in short when switching to a shorter/lower gear your engine rpm's will be slower than the wheel speed so when you disengage the clutch to drop a gear, in order to have a smooth transition you need to estimate what your engine rpm's will be in that lower gear at that wheel speed so you match the rpm's and drop the clutch in gear. Closer you match the rpm's to the wheel speed the more smooth your downshift will be. Hope that helps

Was Great driving.
At parts was right on the edge and I saw one if not two four wheels drifts.
Impressive driving and shows just how fast and how much grip the Focus RS really has.
I Did feel a bit of bullying in the driving causing a few cars to flash there lights at you when you went past in your mirrors

But on the whole I enjoyed your skills and driving.
