Thanks for this valuble and informative episode from this legendary genaral, Mr. Ibrahim Babangida tons of wisdom keep the gems coming peace and blessings.
General IBB got the privilege of saying his side of the story every now and then and i think that is something he should be proud of.
Very sound interviewer….no jittery of meeting IBB
Well, from own view
Every person should be given chance to speak, nt criticizing somebody from hearsay
Nice Interview

ABIOLA
Ibrahim Babaingida is another name on the long list of Nigeria's clueless leaders.
First republic politicians had no clue about how to build a viable nation. With no ideas about what to do, they simply used the country's wealth to give themselves luxurious life, leaving the country to drift. Successive Administration, like Babangida's followed the same pattern, and the country has been drifting since independence. Oil wealth gave citizens a false sense security, even though there has never been strategic thinking and plans for the future. Spiraling oil price has unraveled our lack of sustainable economic strategy. Till now, there is still no structure in place to diversify the economy, create opportunities, and arrest further descent into insecurity and chaos.
Nigeria has actually never had a 'real' or competent Government at any time in our history. Nigeria's seat of power has been playground of unqualified people and crooks just going through the motion.
Nigeria is already a failed State because of the cluelessness of leaders like Babangida.
HISTORY WE JUDGE YOU WRONG SIR HIGHLY
No questions about the bloody civil war, only about his personal injury. These people killed so many civilians, from men to women and children. But till date anything about Biafra is labeled bad and even terrorism in a country where Fulani herdsmen couldn't even be called criminals 🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️. Ofcourse Buhari was happy to call Biafran groups militants or terrorists, he too was involved in the war. It's not about unity, it has always been about control of resources. After all the Northern region threatened secession too, but we all know they were bluffing.
