IBB comment was very foolish trying to equate the possibility of a coup after 1993 June 12 election with 1982 election.
MKO Abiola had won ,Nigerians were all United and had all accepted the result of the election. The atmosphere before and after the election was cordial amongst all religious and ethnic diverse Nigerians.
A Muslim-Muslim ticket and the SDP candidate defeated the NRC candidate in Kano.
Fact remains, IBB annulled June 12 because of his personal greed and not because of any insecurity or fear of an impending coup. IBB and his group of corrupt military and civilian friends were scared of what might become of their loot, possible exposure of the ills they inflicted on Nigeria and were not trusting a powerful MKO as President .
IBB is evil and is to be blamed for whatever we suffer today as a nation .
IBB really set our country back 50yrs with that single act of 1993.

Watch from 5:33 to the end. Remember that last statement very well and come back here reconfirm when it happens. You see, they have set Tinubu up to build up frustration in the people to remove him, that's why all of a sudden Northern big players are pro Tinubu because they know what's cooking. One of the frustrations, is subsidy removal/fuel scarcity, another is election dissatisfaction and many more coming.

wow, I understand what you are saying but a coup in this time and age In Nigeria will be devasting leading to economy decline and international hostility. Nigeria can't afford to have another coup.
As it has always been, a military coup anywhere around the world has favored those in power.
Nigerians had the chance to make the right decision and fight for it.
What we need as Nigerians right now is to build up a civil movement and fight against the tyranny that is coming.
