(Obviously, JK isn’t going to listen, but he definitely supported trans people!) and to the op, him just up and leaving such a successful and praised by fans movie series isn’t something he can just *do*. I’m sure that he signed contracts committing himself to the role through all (5?) of the movies. Acting is a job, just like anything else. Sometimes you hate your coworkers. That doesn’t go away once you’ve made it big.
