Ambush is good solo since you can go invisible for almost like 20 sec, and the flash bomb stun the titans eyes until the titans can open there eyes again exactly at 14 sec which you can blind them forever, it might be good for slowing down titans in the boulder mission.
When you're grappling around, you should attach your opposite grapple to where you want to go before letting go of the other. It helps you to keep momentum
This isn't the case anymore I think, you keep all moment built after you let go with the grapple, the only reason it would be slower is less time boosting
