Well your theory is kinda has a base, after losing Jessica and being thrown in prison (thanks to being framed by Poison and Eddie E.) Cody fell into depression and started saying that fighting was the only thing that made him feel alive but in reality it was all a cover for fighting bad guys before willingly going back to his cell. Thankfully Mike Hagger saved Cody and is starting to go back to his old self as the mayor of Metro City. Though if his arcade ending is anything to go by he still misses Jessica.
I know going from one Capcom brawler to another Capcom brawler might not play well, and this one may even be a little too predictable, but I'd love to see one of these on Capcom's The Punisher, if plausible.

Continued... Lv.3: Downtown They walk into the streets of downtown. As told to us by Cody in "Final Fight One", they were separated around this time as he took a different path. So chances are Cody was the one that got kidnapped and forced to fight in an underground "Street Fight" with the ENTIRE ANDORE FAMILY. The reason why the people look so casual is that the place is run by crooked police. Cody got snatched and Edi. E told everyone they saw nothing. This escalates as Hagger and Guy trace Cody's last whereabouts to a bar on the edge of Japan-Town. They push through and see a scrap shop or cars blocking their path (and the only people with authority to block off an area with cars are the Police). This leads to a fight with Edi. E. as he was overlooking the death Street Fights in that area. The same ones Cody just survived. Canonwise Cody joined in later and saved Hagger and Guy, but it was Hagger who took Edi.E down. Regarding the "Street Fights". There is a reason to why Hagger was given the title "Street Fighter" and this blight was never changed. This here is a theory but the games support this: The "Slam Masters Main Even" later became "Street Fighter Circuit". As this is really a whole different topic I won't delve too much into it, but the mythos never made any corrections to the connections of the two.
In Street Fighter 6, there's a memorial to all of the past street fighter/final fight games. It's hilarious to me that Final Fight Revenge is included, but not Streetwise.

I'm surprised you didn't talk about the SNES version of "Final Fight" at all in this video, since it did have many major differences between the arcade original such as it being a one-player game with only two playable characters to choose from, Damnd and Sodom being renamed Thrasher and Katana respectively, the absence of the Industrial Area stage and Rolento as a boss, Poison and Roxy being replaced by a couple of skinny punks named Billy and Sid, and the quote uttered out by the guy after you complete the Bonus Stage ("Oh! My Car!").
continued... Lv.4: Industrial Area According to canon, Cody was not here. Guy got here first as Hagger had other things to do to track down the mastermind. Guy fought his way through the area and found his self on a currently built sky scrapper. This is where he is informed that Rolento is the "Real" leader of Mad Gear. As he was trying to take over the city to achieve his dream. We later find out in SFxT that his dream is to rule a communist military nation. Guy defeats Rolento and Rolento tries to kill Guy along with his self buy Guy survives. He meets up with Haggar and he traced the money back to a guy named Bleger in Uptown. Neither of them knows where Cody is but as the sun is now set high they waste no time. Regarding Lv.4 it shows that MAD Gear was really serious as to have full control over a factory that manufactured cars and must have had bogus building permits to begin construction of a sky scrapper. So let us continue the MAD Gear tally: Kidnapping, rape, extortion, bribery, smuggling and/or exporting illegal items, death fights, interference with Police investigation, attempted murder, fraud, illegal building and manufacturing, and position of military grade weapons.
Pro tips complete a stage with a weapon in your hand for extra points. Eddie E stage U can get in a couple of hits in when he is defeated,and the secret ending 😋
G.Oriber's name always seemed weird to me. If you do a little reverse Engrish, it turns into G.Oliver. Graham Oliver was a guitarist for the band Saxon, probably best known for "Denim and Leather" although they continue to this day. Hope this helps.

I really want Sodom back in Street Fighter. He was mid-tier except in 3 where he was S tier and was fun to play in all iterations because of his interesting take on being a grappler.
Finale... Ending: Haggar consoles his daughter. The reason for his epic "aw shit" face is he realized that he nearly lost his daughter. He didn't make it in time like his wife. His only child has been deflowered on possible statewide television, he has to reform the police force from the ground up, go after the "Street Fighter Circuit" which may mean tangling with Shadowloo, taking down the industrial companies, shutting down the shipping companies, and his friend kinda protege and possible son-in-law just murdered a man in front of him, leaving his now disgraced daughter to possibly be alone for the rest of her life. A lot of shit happened in one day. Cody possibly disgusted with his self couldn't even look Jessica in the eye [becuase he just murdered a man who was most likely pleading for his life]. Jessica runs after him but it took a Guy to fight Cody to get him to face her. Canonwise Guy lost this fight, as it is referred to in SFA3 and SF4. If you listen to one of Guy's lines, either as Guy or as Cody, he will say "You were always strong" [even though it will be at different times. Cody= at the first hit you give him; Guy--at the last quarter of life you have left]. Jessica accepts Cody as who he is and later Cody (with much too Haggar protest) is arrested for the charges of what happened in Final Fight. The arrest happens off-screen, so it may have happened in between Final Fight Two and Three, or maybe Capcom retconned the vacation thing. I say they retconned it 'cause in SFA3 Cody's colors are pink. Pink stripes in the penal code represent crimes of passion, thus referencing directly the killings and murder of Bleger and his goons. And that's Final Fight. Since you like Cody so much be glad to know that lore-wise Cody is one of THE strongest and best fighters in Street Fighter mythos. He only got serious when he fought in Final Fight and when he got serious again he ALONE destroyed an entire SIN base. To let you know how crazy that is Ryu, Sakura, Dan, Blanka, Guile, Chun-li, and Cammy were needed to take down ONE. and it was still left standing. Cody may have also fought and beat (or at least drove away) Bison, as in that same base Guy's ending happened where he saves Rose [again]. So yeah... Cody M'F'ing Travers.
@@Talessaga2 Remember a mayor is voted in. Haggar can't MAKE anyone become mayor, but most likely endorsed him or even campaigned for him. Cody is a hero of the city, probably THE hero of the city. Even tho' he committed possible multiple accounts of Manslaughter and murder, He did rid the city of Mad Gear, which no other gang brought such horror and terror to the city on such scale again.

Mr. McMuscles let me tell you that I thoroughly enjoyed your video. It made me smile. For that allow me to offer some assistance of the parts of the game that you missed or didn't understand. Intro: Now the flashing red is true to showcase danger of... crime as you say and at that point in time, but as the years went on true to Capcom fashion so too did the retcons. At the time you are correct, it was used to show the danger that needed cleansing but after the release of "Street Fighter, the Animated Movie" all items located in red (especially numbers) within the Street Fighter mythos game narrative is actually data collection of chi, negative energy, or psycho power. Psycho Power would later be retconned associated with the color purple after "Capcom Vs. SNK", but the areas connected with Shadowloo would always be shown in flashing red. This is continued in both of the SF4 movies most noticeably in the Juri vs. Guile fight as her eye once activated burned a crimson hue. Metro City is inspired by New York City and the reason why they didn't use the name New York is speculated because of the 80's movie "Final Fight" as that movie takes place in New York but in the FUTURE! The wanted to avoid copyrights lawsuits, so New York became "Metro City". By looking on the map one can see that Metro City is actually Matthatan and most specifically east Matthatan as Ellis Island can be clearly seen by the "Bay Area". The weight class of each character is to build "realism", act as a guild to the fighters "class", and to indicate an HP damage mechanic that was scrapped at the last second. The intro with Cody and Guy is to show the relation of them to Hagger, so Guy's explanation and Cody's unneeded backstory of his fiance should be taken with eye rolls. I always thought of it as Guy knows more than one Jessica and Cody was confirming which one. Now that the intro is done let us move to the stages. LV.1: The Slums The video of his daughter on T.V. sends him into a fiery rage and set out to crush MAD Gear. At first, it was only Hagger, but update to the game in which their arcades can handle more memory and guess what--retcon! The updated version allowed for all three to be in the cut scene but only Cody and Hagger was playable, later Guy would join as more memory was able to be salvaged. So, story-wise Hagger bumps into them on his way to the Slums, as the training gym, is close to the Slums. This is where Cody and Guy first hear the news and join [note Final Fight is full of references to Street Fighter and Slam Masters. In Hagger's bio for Slam Masters One, it states that he trains in Metro City. This gym may be a reference to this gym, if so Cody and Guy were training at a Slam Masters' Gym]. Now I am going to get pretty dark here, but at the opening of the game, you see Damned running off with Jessica as she screams Cody's name indicates they JUST got there and caught them moving her. This shows that the slums weren't her destination and as we later see she is supposed to be in Uptown. I hope you see where I'm going with this. If not, then Damned took some time to have "fun". Now, remember the video from earlier? Hagger is just the mayor. Not top FBI or Federal level Politician; he is just a Mayor, so he can't have his own channel. Damned and the cronies under him raped Jessica and broadcasted it on television, then called Hagger to witness the assault, he left in the middle and when they found the house, they had just finished. How can we assume that? Well, Jessica in her undies looking away in shame and crying, the door you first see baddies come out of literally has the word "Dick" written on it as half-naked guys come out. The warehouse area can be easily explained. Matthatan has ports. A lot of them and they by the coast in this stage, so MAD Gear is either stealing from the ships docking there, or they are involved with either the export and/or import of something. This confirms Damned request from earlier "let us do as we want" or "just ignore us like the last mayor" [depending on if you play it on Nintendo or Sega CD]. At this point within the game, we don't know what they are doing exactly but kidnap, rape and smuggling are involved. Canon all three chases Damned down in front of the Subway and beat the dog-stank out of him and his boys. It is revealed that she was to be taken to their leader. This prompts them to follow the Subway.
Don't get me wrong cody is a awesome character but it's kinda sad he gets more character development in street fighter than final fight it self like come on a battletoad game is coming out why not a final fight remake or continue
continued... Lv.5: Bay Area Canon this happened before Lv.4 as Cody dashed off knowing where to find the "leader" of MAD Gear. It is not told of how he knows, perhaps one of the Andores told him, or maybe even Poison or the one that would later become Hugo. Regardless the car scene sets up Hagger and Guy going one way as following it all the way back to a factory and Cody going to the Bay Area instead. The reason why the area is one long "Strip" is that the area in which the stage takes place is small and the entire stage takes place in one park. As shown in the level, MAD Gear is actually a biker gang. And Cody went to their "headquarters" and BEAT UP AN ENTIRE CITY WIDE GANG IN ONE NIGHT. The dog was there to either show the player that you are fighting in the same spot, or they thought it was funny. In "Final Fight One" Cody recognizes the dog and comment that the dog was actually pretty annoying. I guess Hype-Dog got a little too hype at seeing humans fight, hell he was probably running bets. Anyway, Cody only goes into the bathroom to gain space and then back out to the square. Abigale shows up at daybreak and gets wrecked. Abigale then tells Cody where he took Jessica. Abigale sorta confirms the rape of Jessica in a way. This Lv. shows that Cody is badass and arguably the real hero of Metro City, which would explain his dishearted attitude in SFA3 and SF4.
continued... Lv.6: Uptown Cody gets there before the other two as they are following the destruction in Cody's wake. As shown on Haggar's face at the end of the game, Cody lost control. He is no longer just beating people up; he is possibly killing people. The reason as to why the chandeliers are falling is 'cause Cody is annihilating thugs. Cody is dispatching whoever is left of MAD Gear. He sees Jessica on Bleger's lap and according to "Final Fight One" Belger was never evil. The "Penthouse" you reach the top is actually a church [And if one is willing to accept anything from Streetwise then this roughly hints that Belger was a preist]. Belger wanted to reform MAD Gear Gang within his youth reformation program, but things went another way. He wanted Cody to join MAD Gear desperately (if you ask me he figured that Cody would be his enforcer to clean up MAD Gear). Cody said no and punched him through a window. This is when Haggar and Guy showed up to see Cody not kill but MURDER Belger in cold blood.
continued... Lv.2: Subway The subway is full of MAD Gear 'cause as told to us in either "Mighty Final Fight" or maybe in "Final Fight One" that Subway line was to be closed. See where this is going? They fight through a Subway station taken over by MAD Gear. This leads to the [yes] underground Wrestling death matches, where Sodom reigned champion. This too is a reference to Hagger's backstory to why he ran for Mayor-- Slam Masters became corrupt and the head was in Metro City. After seeing crime takeover wrestling and stopping drugs from being sold, he decides enough is enough. Canonwise Hagger didn't fight Sodom, but Cody and royally defeated him. This is confirmed in SF Alpha 3 with Sodom rather mean quote to Cody but not to guy. They find themselves downtown near (which if one is willing to accept anything from Streetwise) the Japan-Town district. Now to tally the crimes of Mad Gear--Kidnap, rape, piracy, smuggling foreign items or export of illegal items, drug trafficking, and death fights.

The arrest happens off-screen, so it may have happened in between Final Fight Two and Three, or maybe Capcom retconned the vacation thing.
I say they retconned it 'cause in SFA3 Cody's colors are pink. Pink stripes in the penal code represent crimes of passion, thus referencing directly the killings and murder of Bleger and his goons.
And that's Final Fight. Since you like Cody so much be glad to know that lore-wise Cody is one of THE strongest and best fighters in Street Fighter mythos. He only got serious when he fought in Final Fight and when he got serious again he ALONE destroyed an entire SIN base. To let you know how crazy that is Ryu, Sakura, Dan, Blanka, Guile, Chun-li, and Cammy were needed to take down ONE. and it was still left standing. Cody may have also fought and beat (or at least drove away) Bison, as in that same base Guy's ending happened where he saves Rose [again].

@@Talessaga2 Remember a mayor is voted in. Haggar can't MAKE anyone become mayor, but most likely endorsed him or even campaigned for him. Cody is a hero of the city, probably THE hero of the city. Even tho' he committed possible multiple accounts of Manslaughter and murder, He did rid the city of Mad Gear, which no other gang brought such horror and terror to the city on such scale again.

Mr. McMuscles let me tell you that I thoroughly enjoyed your video. It made me smile. For that allow me to offer some assistance of the parts of the game that you missed or didn't understand.
Intro:
Now the flashing red is true to showcase danger of... crime as you say and at that point in time, but as the years went on true to Capcom fashion so too did the retcons. At the time you are correct, it was used to show the danger that needed cleansing but after the release of "Street Fighter, the Animated Movie" all items located in red (especially numbers) within the Street Fighter mythos game narrative is actually data collection of chi, negative energy, or psycho power. Psycho Power would later be retconned associated with the color purple after "Capcom Vs. SNK", but the areas connected with Shadowloo would always be shown in flashing red. This is continued in both of the SF4 movies most noticeably in the Juri vs. Guile fight as her eye once activated burned a crimson hue.
Metro City is inspired by New York City and the reason why they didn't use the name New York is speculated because of the 80's movie "Final Fight" as that movie takes place in New York but in the FUTURE! The wanted to avoid copyrights lawsuits, so New York became "Metro City". By looking on the map one can see that Metro City is actually Matthatan and most specifically east Matthatan as Ellis Island can be clearly seen by the "Bay Area".
The weight class of each character is to build "realism", act as a guild to the fighters "class", and to indicate an HP damage mechanic that was scrapped at the last second. The intro with Cody and Guy is to show the relation of them to Hagger, so Guy's explanation and Cody's unneeded backstory of his fiance should be taken with eye rolls. I always thought of it as Guy knows more than one Jessica and Cody was confirming which one.
Now that the intro is done let us move to the stages.
LV.1: The Slums
The video of his daughter on T.V. sends him into a fiery rage and set out to crush MAD Gear. At first, it was only Hagger, but update to the game in which their arcades can handle more memory and guess what--retcon! The updated version allowed for all three to be in the cut scene but only Cody and Hagger was playable, later Guy would join as more memory was able to be salvaged. So, story-wise Hagger bumps into them on his way to the Slums, as the training gym, is close to the Slums. This is where Cody and Guy first hear the news and join [note Final Fight is full of references to Street Fighter and Slam Masters. In Hagger's bio for Slam Masters One, it states that he trains in Metro City. This gym may be a reference to this gym, if so Cody and Guy were training at a Slam Masters' Gym].
Now I am going to get pretty dark here, but at the opening of the game, you see Damned running off with Jessica as she screams Cody's name indicates they JUST got there and caught them moving her. This shows that the slums weren't her destination and as we later see she is supposed to be in Uptown. I hope you see where I'm going with this. If not, then Damned took some time to have "fun". Now, remember the video from earlier? Hagger is just the mayor. Not top FBI or Federal level Politician; he is just a Mayor, so he can't have his own channel. Damned and the cronies under him raped Jessica and broadcasted it on television, then called Hagger to witness the assault, he left in the middle and when they found the house, they had just finished. How can we assume that? Well, Jessica in her undies looking away in shame and crying, the door you first see baddies come out of literally has the word "Dick" written on it as half-naked guys come out.
The warehouse area can be easily explained. Matthatan has ports. A lot of them and they by the coast in this stage, so MAD Gear is either stealing from the ships docking there, or they are involved with either the export and/or import of something. This confirms Damned request from earlier "let us do as we want" or "just ignore us like the last mayor" [depending on if you play it on Nintendo or Sega CD]. At this point within the game, we don't know what they are doing exactly but kidnap, rape and smuggling are involved.
Canon all three chases Damned down in front of the Subway and beat the dog-stank out of him and his boys. It is revealed that she was to be taken to their leader. This prompts them to follow the Subway.
Don't get me wrong cody is a awesome character but it's kinda sad he gets more character development in street fighter than final fight it self like come on a battletoad game is coming out why not a final fight remake or continue

Lv.5: Bay Area
Canon this happened before Lv.4 as Cody dashed off knowing where to find the "leader" of MAD Gear. It is not told of how he knows, perhaps one of the Andores told him, or maybe even Poison or the one that would later become Hugo. Regardless the car scene sets up Hagger and Guy going one way as following it all the way back to a factory and Cody going to the Bay Area instead. The reason why the area is one long "Strip" is that the area in which the stage takes place is small and the entire stage takes place in one park. As shown in the level, MAD Gear is actually a biker gang. And Cody went to their "headquarters" and BEAT UP AN ENTIRE CITY WIDE GANG IN ONE NIGHT. The dog was there to either show the player that you are fighting in the same spot, or they thought it was funny. In "Final Fight One" Cody recognizes the dog and comment that the dog was actually pretty annoying. I guess Hype-Dog got a little too hype at seeing humans fight, hell he was probably running bets. Anyway, Cody only goes into the bathroom to gain space and then back out to the square. Abigale shows up at daybreak and gets wrecked. Abigale then tells Cody where he took Jessica. Abigale sorta confirms the rape of Jessica in a way.
This Lv. shows that Cody is badass and arguably the real hero of Metro City, which would explain his dishearted attitude in SFA3 and SF4.

Lv.6: Uptown
Cody gets there before the other two as they are following the destruction in Cody's wake. As shown on Haggar's face at the end of the game, Cody lost control. He is no longer just beating people up; he is possibly killing people. The reason as to why the chandeliers are falling is 'cause Cody is annihilating thugs. Cody is dispatching whoever is left of MAD Gear. He sees Jessica on Bleger's lap and according to "Final Fight One" Belger was never evil. The "Penthouse" you reach the top is actually a church [And if one is willing to accept anything from Streetwise then this roughly hints that Belger was a preist]. Belger wanted to reform MAD Gear Gang within his youth reformation program, but things went another way. He wanted Cody to join MAD Gear desperately (if you ask me he figured that Cody would be his enforcer to clean up MAD Gear). Cody said no and punched him through a window. This is when Haggar and Guy showed up to see Cody not kill but MURDER Belger in cold blood.

Lv.2: Subway
The subway is full of MAD Gear 'cause as told to us in either "Mighty Final Fight" or maybe in "Final Fight One" that Subway line was to be closed. See where this is going? They fight through a Subway station taken over by MAD Gear. This leads to the [yes] underground Wrestling death matches, where Sodom reigned champion. This too is a reference to Hagger's backstory to why he ran for Mayor-- Slam Masters became corrupt and the head was in Metro City. After seeing crime takeover wrestling and stopping drugs from being sold, he decides enough is enough. Canonwise Hagger didn't fight Sodom, but Cody and royally defeated him. This is confirmed in SF Alpha 3 with Sodom rather mean quote to Cody but not to guy. They find themselves downtown near (which if one is willing to accept anything from Streetwise) the Japan-Town district.
Now to tally the crimes of Mad Gear--Kidnap, rape, piracy, smuggling foreign items or export of illegal items, drug trafficking, and death fights.
