He’s been looking great against worst strikers, Potan has been knocking fools senseless in glory, arguably the most prestigious kickboxing organisation at present. Was never gonna be any other way. Alex was cerebral, issy got comfy and lost his belt, it’s 0-3 now, if it isn’t 3-1 next fight, issy will always lose. And the mental blow this will deal will be immeasurable, issy might not show it but make no mistake he will have to doubt his skills around Potan now!

I was sitting in a room of izzy fans, jumped up and screamed when he finished him then immediately got yelled at because i was celebrating. Izzys FORTUNATE that he wasn't knocked unconscious. The rebound/rematch opportunity would take a LOT LONGER! Funny thing is I think other Middleweights like Marvin Vettori and Robert Whittaker have an excellent chance against AP if the opportunity presented themselves. They would've definitely gotten the rear naked choke sub Izzy was attempting.
Vettori lacks gifting IQ a bit, but Bobby Knuckles would surely do it.

I knew this was gonna happen. Izzy fights in such a way that he plays conservative and tries to win by really thin margins instead of taking any risks, which counterintuitively, puts him at more risk of something like this happening. He fights like he's scared to do anything risky cause he might get knocked out, and so he lets his opponent hang around and get more chances to knock him out. It's one of those things that works until it doesn't work.

The problem with Izzy is that he fought actually risky because he did not use his wrestling advantage in comparison to Ngannou vs Gane or Holloway vs Yahir Rodriguez, etc. He did what he said he was going to do, to kill or be killed. He is high level striker but Pereira was better that night (he checked almost all his kicks and Izzy received more damage in his legs, that's the reason he lost his footwork in 5th round and lost the fight at the end).
