      I think they want economy to be comfortable enough that you dont go with another plane but not comfortable enough so you upgrade to first or middle class

    This is basically a 7 and a half minutes commercial for Delta. Maybe they should also talk about how airlines try to cramp as many people as possible into a flight so that they can make as much money as possible out of flyers

      I was on flight before where there was still some random seat open for any reason. and hearing planes go 400 mph is crazy, now i know why they adjust wings and all early and by chance skid on runway cause sometimes land too quick and so try slow down plane some so not have things go wrong any.

    Y'all should completely redesign the cabin so each passenger has like a coffin-like area to sleep in. Obviously not as claustrophobic as a coffin but you can cram more passengers into a plane and the passengers are more comfortable. Win. Win

      Victor Ā you would also have to take into account the weight, more weight means more fuel consumption, more fuel consumption means higher costs for the airline which will increase ticket prices

      Right, but they committed to retrofitting the 777 almost 5 years ago, then in 2020 COVID came around and has changed their business drastically. Its not like they planned to retire them immediately after the retrofit... You're being a little disingenuous.

    All that she told is generally already adopted by most airlines for some time now... except middle east, rarely we find b777 with 10 seats in row, most of them are 9. Touch and tilt screen is long existent.

      That’s not true... most have 10 to a row. Delta, Turkish, Korean, Air India, Asiana and maybe a few others have 9.
      Qatar, Emirates, AA, United, Air Canada, Philippine, Air China, Air New Zealand, Alitalia, ANA, Austrian etc etc, all have 10 in a row.

    I hate plugging in the headset to bottom of the screen. Back in days, there was port in your arm rest area and it was much more convenient

    I used to reconfigure, refuel and wash DOE airplanes at Ross Aviation. Tested for A&P and the practical was taken next door at Robertson Aviation.

    You should update or upgrade your planes to half seats and create more room. People now are exposed to higher stress and higher anxiety levels. If you want to succeed in the near future and lure more customers, you must reduce number of seats and make it look more roomy!!

    I always choose comfort+. It seems as though these seats are inching closer and closer to each other. Pay extra for more room and maybe a bag of chips. However, I've found American has more legroom in their version, especially on the 787.

    So interesting!! Love a comfortable seat. Can't stand long haul flights and tight seat arrangements. My legs were so sore after my 9 hrs flight and I was pregnant at that time. I don't like direct flights.

    I flew first class from Philadephia to Honolulu in one of the new 777’s and it was amazing the seats were heated, cooled, massaged, and they turned into beds it made the 11 hour flight bearable and I think it was definitely worth the price

    I wish they spent some time talkning about how they design seats for disabled passengers. As a disabled person who relies on mobility aids to get around, I want to know what thought went into my potential seat.

    What if there were those exercise bike pedals that can be pulled out of the bottom of where you put your feet and you can do some exercise if you’re bored. And then maybe it can create electricity, idk.
