Shannen's death has been under my skin for days. I was a HUGE fan of hers. I grew up knowing her because of 90210 and The Heathers but I loved her because of Charmed. I used to watch it with my grandmother(who passed of cancer as well) so this stings. I always felt Shannen was deemed "wild" or a "bad seed" because she actually wanted to work at work. If she were a man, her behavior would have been perceived differently. R.I.P to her.

Dr Ruth needs a top tier documentary on her life. When you read about her youth and everything, very interesting and emotional.

My Gen X heart was hurt hearing about the losses this weekend. I read a lot of letters written to Dr. Ruth in the 80s for about 6 months at work. It was lowkey taking a toll on me because some of them were heartbreaking. I was around the same age as the characters on 90210. That was my show. lol my mom definitely bought me a sweating to the oldies VHS tape. 😂 I had a connection to all of them.

I am a faithful subscriber since 2009 and look forward to every video you post so hear me out while I offer my personal insight.
I may do a video about Divorce in Black because my family is from the South and there are many families buried on the home property. Yes, this scene was the most extreme of all cases but I personally have seen similar situations happen at funerals. I'm the daughter of a baptist pastor so I've been to more funerals than the majority of people in the world and I'm sorry to tell you all, but this scene was only slightly exaggerated. There have been 2 whole families at funerals fighting over the body (like the dead man was living a double life and both wives and all their children and relatives showed up at the funeral!!!!) So, while I don't think we should expect a MOVIE to be realistic, I know that we like movies to be believeable. We want to believe that the things in the movie could happen and a lot of you have only been to the funerals of your close relatives or friends so for you, it is unrealistic and unbelieveable. But believe me when I tell you this absolutely has happened. For sure, it is not the norm but folks can really cut up at these funerals.
Oh and you can bury someone on your property but you need to check city state laws because they may require the area to be zoned

I respect Tyler Perry as a business man and he has done so much for the community. However, I don’t even attempt to watch a Tyler Perry movie, tv show or commercial. He’s been in the game so long you would think his level of writing would become a little bit more sophisticated. I guess he found a formula that works for him and he’s sticking to it.

My issue with Tyler’s movies is that while he can get the big name actors (because he pays a good coin), he handicaps what could be great acting by saddling them with horrible scripts. Is he still writing all of his own stuff? If so, it’s officially time for him to focus on production and running his media empire and hire great writers (ie, Shonda Rhimes).

RIP Shannen Doherty, Richard Simmons, and Dr. Ruth. I loved Beverly Hills 90210. Luke Perry is the guy who died a few years ago. Divorce in the Black was crazy. The opening scene was so over the top but the rest of the movie was boring to me. I have very low expectations when it comes to Tyler Perry movies. I don't have the energy to talk about YSAP. It's exhausting.

This update probably came out after you filmed. There's a new judge assigned to the case, a Black woman judge Shukura Ingram. But you're right, those lawyers are definitely going to be requesting the case to be dismissed. This case been going on so long and so much has happened, I don't see how any judge can come in in the middle and just pick up and keep the case going.
Welp, that judge is out. Judge Ingram has recused herself because of a past relationship between a defendant in the trial and one of her deputies.
