For some reason I’ve owned almost 60 cars in my life. While there have been moments of pure joy while experiencing some of these vehicles, generally speaking, owning this many vehicles can only lead down a path of financial and emotional ruin! But I did it anyway!
So today, let's talk about every car that I've ever owned. The ups, the downs, the happiness, the regret. The good memories, the failures. The road trips, the breakdowns, and the crashes. Come join me!

Hi Ethan,, I really enjoyed this video. It's funny that my family had several Chevrolet Nova / Toyota Corolla and Geo Prisms when I grew up... back then I didn't really like them even though I took really great care of my top of the line 87 Chevrolet Nova hatchback and my 1993 Geo prizm LSI 5 speed manual sedan... these days I've grown quite nostalgic over them and their bulletproof reliability. currently I drive a 1998 third generation Toyota 4Runner which has over 300,000 mi and is probably the most reliable vehicle I've ever owned in my life... but what I've driven more is my 2006 Toyota Prius. I've actually lived out of it on the road 40% of the time with over 300,000 mi now.... I also drove well over 10 vehicles while living in Japan for 11 years.... maybe someday I'll put together a video like this too haha

I’ve owned close to 100 but crazy thing is my second car was a 69 skylark gs with a 455. It was a rust bucket basket case but I loved it and it ripped the tires off and barely stopped. Always wanted another one but a restored one.

This is beyond embarrassing...I had three vehicles when i got my license at 16. I'm about to turn 67 and I lost count at 1,000. From your list of almost 60 vehicles I've had several---stanza wagon, tercel, prizm, maxima, 200sx, xb, miata, prius, b210, integra, grand am, altima +++. I currently own a Nissan Axxess, Olds cierra international coupe plus two mainstream Hondas. I want to thank you for introducing me to Radwood. Since i live in Virginia I have only attended Philly and am disappointed not to see a Philly show this year. My Nissan was well received at import Carlisle last month and I wanted to show it. Any hope?

I've only owned about 20 cars, but there are 2 or 3 others that friends owned and I spent so much time driving and working on in high school that I had more of an ownership experience with those than most cars I've actually owned. One of those friends' cars was a 1969 Buick Regal GS convertible. It had the Olds 455 in it and no seats and a broken speedometer the day my friend bought it. We pulled seats out of a different GM car the next day at the u pick place and installed them. I never worked on a car more than on that one. Your list of cars is like a bigger, alternate universe version of mine. There's definitely some almost overlap. For example, I'm in currently in my second VW wagon. I've had some late 80s/early 90s GM cars. I recently saw and photographed a 90s Mazda 626 that I put on Instagram and tagged one of your accounts in.
The modern car that I regret selling is my 2020 Stinger GT2, but I sold it for exactly what I bought it for after driving it two years. I'll probably never get that chance again.

Sorry to say I have owned exactly 50 cars. And while most of them were cheap compared to buying brand new, I would hate to add up all the parts, repair, tax and registration bills. But, I have certainly had more fun than if I bought a new Honda and never bought another car. Now approaching retirement, I hopefully have my collection narrowed down to 3 keepers: a Saab, Alfa and a reliable Ford. But I still can’t help looking for new bargains every day. I think I share your sickness!

Greetings from Glenn in Cleveland! It's 25 to 30 cars for me. I do have a list of cars and a log of when I bought them (year) and what I paid as well as pictures. I haven't seen the list for quite a few years. My current cars have not made the list yet. Until more recent years, I have only owned GM cars except for Pontiac. Out of all of them, I bought one of them back many years later (I don't know if that counts). I always had a good car and stored it in the winter months. I bought a winter beater each year. I regret getting rid of my 1st car "1972 Skylark GS" purchased for $500 80,000 mi. good condition. 4th car "1974 Chevelle Laguna S.3 purchased for $1200 43,000 mi. very good condition from my boss. Both were bucket console cars.
I have been driving for 45 years and cars back then were seemingly cheaper. If only I could have seen into the future, I would have hung these classic cars!

The Chevy Nova Twin-Cam is an awesome car. I would hold on to that one because they are so rare. I know it was a struggle to repair but I love the Ford Probe GT. It is a great example of 90s design. I've gone through 15 cars in my 40 years of driving, so I can't imagine owning 56. Of the new cars, one of my vaforite was a 2008 Dodge Caliber SRT in black. Wish I would have kept that one, but driving the manual got old. Your malibu had the landau package, and a chevy 305 V8. All 4 speed A/G body vehicles with the 4 speed were equipped with a 305. Smaller engines could be had with a 3 speed manual. One of my first vehicles was a 78 identical to yours, 2 door, landau 4 speed and a 305. Only difference was mine was black with a black landau vinyl roof and a "whore's drawer" red interior. That car led me to be a nerd of A/G body cars lol. Currently, one of my cars is an 80 regal t top that is a mutt of mixed parts. Being in Cali, i bet yours has minimal to zero rot.

Yep you're right, mine had the Landau! It had sport mirrors, rally wheels, rally gauges, bucket seats, center console. I've never seen another one like it, though I'm sure they were out there at some point! I grew up in Massachusetts, so the Malibu met it's demise with rear frame rust, bumper just about fell off. A circle track guy bought it, don't know what happened to it after that! I'd love to find another one but all I ever see for sale are trashed/thrashed examples

    • @williamsinger4124
      @williamsinger4124 Před měsícem

@@HelloRoad ohh, I shall stand corrected, I thought you were born and raised in Cali. My bad. Yeah, rear frame rot, well, rot in general is a thing here in the northeast. My regal is parked 6 months of the year living in upstate NY. Bought it from the original owner back in 02 in NC. He was struck blind from a bad car accident, and his wife would take him for drives in it until she could no longer drive. Car is light blue with a dark blue landau roof, I removed the vinyl and replicated the vinyl texture with bedliner, painted that portion in dark blue, and reinstalled the trim so it looks exactly the same without the vinyl top hassles. I swapped in a 69 Buick 350 mildly warmed over, backed with a rebuilt 200 4R overdrive trans and 3.42 gears. Also swapped in the column, bucket seats and console from a wrecked Monte Carlo SS and had the seats upholstered to match the dark blue pillow top seats the car come with. Plus lots of other small things. As a car guy, you understand the whole labor of love thing lol

My first car was a 1993 Ford Ranger. It never really worked right, and I couldn't get it going for my 16th birthday, so we ended up selling it for a more reliable car. My next car is a 2008 Subaru Impreza with a 5 speed manual, which I still have. My third vehicle was a 2011 Subaru Impreza WRX which had a ton of issues, and I ended up selling it like 6-7 months after I bought it. My newest acquisition is my late grandfather's 2014 Ford Fusion. It is a fleet spec car, and as such has few amenities, but otherwise only has 59000 miles on the clock and will be good transport during university. The other two are hand-me-downs from my family. One is my Aunt's 1990 Honda Civic Si, which is not in running condition but I hope to be able to get it there soonish. The other is a project me and my dad are planning on working on, which is my grandfather's 1980 International Scout II with the Nissan Turbodiesel in it. This one is super cool and I am excited to work on it, and apparently only 6400 were ever made with the turbodiesel. Either way, it will be a great project for me and my dad, as we have some shared memories in it through my grandfather, who passed away about 2 months ago.

Probably i think because you do it for passion and wants only,
If I were you I would do it for a purpose to keep them in existence so that they don't end up being just pictures or videos..

I don't know much about French cars but even the French don't like their cars. If you want a Peugeot, find an old one.

They're not even that bad! Owned a 307 and an expert van that both did well over 300,000km without anything stupid going wrong. Just maintain them and they will go forever, it's never the engines that go either, its windows and wipers and other silly electrical shit that you can live with

This guy must have known the lady at the DMV my first name. Only thing I wouldn't like about California other than the other 90 problems is the smog inspection. That's the one thing I think that Sean's brightest in Alabama we don't have one. So in a catalytic converter Thief goes up under my car there isn't one for him to steal. I too have a problem with buying cars but I don't sell them I just keep them
