Part 1 of 6. Set after the events of ‘The Chase’ the Dalek death squad return from their chase in time and space with a captured Mechonoid. This video follows its efforts to escape from the Dalek base.
Nice homage to "The Chase" final Battle Dalek trio Arm/Gun switch blocking at apx 2:20. And of course the Mechonoids are just as difficult to understand as they were in the episode. Hehe
Oh I sooo love this!! First, the animation was really well done - smooth as silk - not to mention how much work was obviously put into it. Second, of course, the voices. Moved from Barnsley to the US right after A levels 20 some years back, and the thing I miss most is the Yorkshire accent (mine's been gone for years now) and whenever I hear it I start smiling and get me gob back (tha noze). Never even thought about how it sounds in dalek but now I know it's the dog's b......
So in the new Daleks! series on the Doctor Who CZcams channel, the Mechonoid's were shown to be capable of flight, so methinks we have a time traveller here
haha! actually a few things - such as exact lines of speech and phrases - are also used in Daleks! too. It's probably just a coincidence! the flying thing is cool though. I just thought why not?
Northern Daleks 😆 i love it.... must have been near where 9 got his accent too Its really good stop motion and must have taken a very long time to make and a lot of work involved. Enjoyed it 👍 😊
@TheRedDal3k thank you so much, that was a joy to read. I hope you enjoy my future videos - I am definately intending on producing more of this quality. :)
I have always liked the Dalek Emperors and Dalek Supremes better in millions and bllions of ways than the bloody awful Davros half Dalek and half Kaled mutant.
Fantastic video! One question though, is the Mechonoid flame-thrower a special kind? As it is able to destroy daleks. i wondered this while watching the chase too.

This is really well done... you really have a feel for the Dalek dialogue too.
A Dalek with a northern accent - love this 1965 spin
Thank you very much indeed! :)

Hehe, and I had to laugh when the Supreme Exterminates the sub-commander anyway at 3:37, on his way out.
Haha, I do like that bit. I suppose he's still angry that he failed to control the situation!
That reminds me when the council Dalek in the ‘planet of the Daleks’ killed the one in charge XD
welcome to the planet Lancashire.

Brilliant. I can't wait to see more of these. You've really got the 60s style and the animation is consistent and smooth too. Nice.

Kraftwerk from 'the robots'.......... too powerful for the Daleks to resist.........

Fantastic video! One question though, is the Mechonoid flame-thrower a special kind? As it is able to destroy daleks. i wondered this while watching the chase too.
I suppose it must be, if they're from the future of humanity they probably have pretty powerful weaponry! Glad you enjoyed the video :)
