I love this. My son's class is doing this and every time he gets a ticket he is like so excited. They have to pay rent first then they can buy stuff. Update : rent is 3 tickets a month kids can earn tickets by being in class , helping keep the class room clean, turning in work on time not by grades because that is not fair to all students. It's to teach money management, yes you want nice things but important things come first. Also side note if you have elementary students for a nice thing for the teachers every other week or month send extra pencils ,tissues or a box of Band-Aids lol it helps teachers out so much lol.

Before I knew it, I was in highschool, graduated, moved out and right now, I’m face to face with a bunch applications, paperworks and assignments that needs to be finished. These days when you go on a vacation for 2 weeks you get F's in all your classes when the work is online and the teachers are all well aware there won't be any wifi where you're going because you're going to a family cabin near a lake in the middle of the woods.
In an asian elementary school I never see these happen, I really wish we had more teachers like you. I was traumatized by a math teacher who got REALLY mad because I prioritized my sports over her math competition (I was a contestant). I was 11 years old. You're amazing! Once my math teacher told me to give up my hobbies and only study for her class. I really had to bite my lip not to say to her to give up her garden and husband for having more time to improve her teaching skills...
My asian junior high math teacher was the sweetest. She offered us little 3D puzzles every time we passed the goal on a quiz. The best part was we all had different goals depending on our skill level, so it was challenging for everyone without seeming impossible.
My grade 3 teacher did this with us, me and my one friend both wanted the same thing, so we split our ticket thingys and did like a shared custody thing where one person would have it for a week, then the other got it for a week. Funny thing is, what we both wanted was this little eraser that looked like a milk carton. I ended up keeping it, still have it in grade 10, its a cute memory
