Another great video! I like this game, though the card that allowed Lincoln's friterie move felt so unnecessarily aggressive compared to the rest of the game. It does a good job making it feel thematic and the artwork is divine.
Love your videos! This game looks like a Restaurant themed Ticket to Ride. Question: at around 1:11:50 - the placement of the terrace was adjacent to the terraces from a different restaurant. Was that a legal placement? Is that because of the pigeon card Lincoln drew earlier? I guess that affect is in place through the rest of the game then? Thank you for the kind words. Those placements we because of that Pigeon Card and we only took it that it applies that one turn. Because it was from an inexpensive Friterie, I was able to keep placing because I had so much income. That card also allowed me to place on up to two existing terraces which makes it pretty powerful for a strange placement like the one in the video. Even though there aren’t that many different Pigeon Cards, I do wish the rule book had clarifications or examples for each. Thanks again for watching and the note. -Lincoln
@@boardgamegeek Thanks for the quick reply! The placement I am concerned about took place at 1:11:43 purchased for and placed in front of the Brasserie. It was placed immediately next to a terrace that extended from the Friterie (from the original pigeon card play that took place around 55:20), which I thought violated the rules described at 13:55 - 14:00. I'm sure I'm missing something with the placement rules here, so I was just trying to understand the turn taken at 1:11:43 and what allowed Lincoln to place the terrace immediately adjacent to a terrace from one of his other restaurants. Keep up the great work! Thanks for having so much fun with your presentations!
@@redpacifier Oh, that is a mistake for sure! As you say, there needs to be a gap of one space even for your own terraces. If I wanted the Pigeon Card I should have placed on the other end of that building. Thanks for pointing that out. -Lincoln
What is your opinion on Rahdo’s opinion on folks like you who don’t wear masks while getting together and playing games with friends on CZcams? He indicates that it is irresponsible and does not set a good example.
