I use black seed as well, and it has helped to keep my scalp in check it is nice to see else that is interested and using natural but actually show how to make the oil from scratch and utilize its benefits in their hair as well.

but like... think about the cost though.. black seed oil retails about 15 - 25 + usd... nigella seeds ... 3 bucks at most and you can make a large batch if you infuse it..

No, not twice, just once.
Also, you don't have to wash it out of your hair. You can use it to seal in moisture after applying leave in conditioner
