Man I really like this game I hope ppl play it and it doesn’t get cancelled like most live service games :(
It'll last for a while, they have a roadmap. Typically games finish the roadmap and continue to assess from there (personal experience from working in the gaming industry). There are also plenty of games with very low player counts that remain serviced for years and still going.
Keep your hopes up and keep the positive energy, don't let negative comments about the game get to you. Nowadays, all games get the same treatment before players play them or it'll just last for a weekish then the negativity dies down and moves to another newly released game.
The game will do well and hopefully spread to other platforms so others can play it and see how fun it is as well! 😉

YO I actually really like Coif his weapon and kit are amazing!! Sucks we have to wait until next month, but at least there will be more friyay's. Hopefully they make them all a little different too or give new rewards. Ngl, this event was way better than a sweaty splatfest... getting to play a new character is huge and they made it fun!
I’m sad I missed the first round by 2 minutes smh 😢😂 This looks very exciting to be apart of though. Hopefully I can actually be on time for the next one later today. Can you party up with friends? Can’t wait to try him, those abilities seem so fun

Definitely. I have a lot of videos planned to release real soon and that is 100% one of them. 😉
Single platform console shooter? Also it's by Square so expect it to last for a year, for now. (They close their multiplayer games in record time.)

FF14 is a massive exception. Can't wait for the xbox beta later this month. They've talked about bringing it over for years and finally it's ready ^_^
Maybe Foamstars becomes successful and they expand on Xbox and PC, who knows. They've had bunch of trial and error though >.

@@dreamspacex3734 It's a different game in my opinion coming from playing both. From the outside of those who haven't played it though, I can see how it may look similar.
LoL and dota, Paladins and OverWatch, street fighter and Tekken. From the outside of those who never played, it'll seem like it's the same games with different paint. Those who play both can easily tell they are different.
I also think nowadays there is a huge bandwagon trend where a lot of people restate what others say regardless of their experience.
One example is the Splatoon v Foamstars argument. A lot of players have never played either or they just played one.
This is something with all new games though, a lot of comments are repeats of another opinion without personal experience. =/
