#whoselineisitanyway #comedy #improv | Colin Mochrie Whose Line | Whose Line UK | Whose Line is it Anyway? - Komedie
Colin is able to come up with some of the most convoluted, hysterical puns I've ever heard. He and Ryan are comedy gold together
The Arctic Tern will always be one of my favorites.
Knick Knack Paddy Whack.
Tapioooooooca!
Reindeer in Spain hit mainly by the plane.
Bed cot Philly papers?
Thank goodness Colin got that second chance!
My life wouldn’t of been the same without Colin & Ryan 😊
We here like to call this “The good time line”.
@@LastEuropean the Whose Timeline Is It Anyway
Mine either!!
Colin's work on Whose Line has always been fantastic -- just don't ask the man to sing.
FAR too much singing in the WB version anyway....
Backstreet boys!?
@@SunAndMirror Ryan (laughing): No Colin, that's wrong!
♪ Tapioca! Tapiooca! ♪

“I’m lucky because I’ve got no other skills” genius
I relate SO much to that sentence.
They grew up together?! Well that explains their chemistry.
Not literally. They met as young comics and has been working together for like 40 years now.
He and Ryan are an insane combo
Every generation or person has their favorite comedy duo, and for me it's Colin Mochrie and Ryan Styles.
"Ryan and I grew up together."
No wonder they work together so well.
The number of times you get a variation of "you really want to start?" when physical attributes pop up, you just know they've been teasing each other for a long time
It really is unsurprising in hindsight 😂
Wow, just learned Colin and Ryan are childhood friends and suddenly everything is okay again
They're not. They met in their 20s. He means that they had worked together for years since they were conpletely unknown.
The fact that his name sounds like “Mockery” and he’s really good at making fun of both himself and others is just GOLD.
Colin and Ryan are still everyone’s favorite pair from Who’s line. I love that they were featured on every version of Who’s line.
We are always our worst critic. Colin, you are brilliant !!!
From one bald guy to another...
Keep Shining !!!
Gotta love the bald jokes
I used to watch Colin and Ryan in a little theatre space in Vancouver in the 1980s. Back Alley Theatre.
Yes, I remember those great improvs there in the early 80s. He was already a star in my eyes. They both were.
he has not aged a day... his face is just becoming more prominent and the rest of him is letting it shine.
Same with David Cross
I was just thinking that. The only thing that's changed on him is the color of his hair. He looks great!
“Knick knack patty whack” was gold
His work on the US episode with Richard Simmons Living Scenery alone is a great gift to the world.
I met Colin once in the lobby of Caesar's in Vegas. He stopped and chatted for a quick handshake. He was very nice. And a lot taller than I thought. However, working next to Ryan Stiles...lol
Colins puns at the start of news bits and music infomercials are always great.
Of course they grew up together. You can tell by the look in Ryan's eyes when Colin mentions his nose. Colin will always be one of the funniest people in the world to me. Never seen anyone better at improv.
These individuals are legends, they will never be replaced by todays actors. Arguably underrated and IMO better than SNL
i'll still never understand how they're able to be so funny, come up with the most out of the box jokes and make whole scenes work and flow, on the spot. they are amazing
extremely talented.. and to do it on the spot on tv and audience.. baffling.. quick wits..
"A circus troupe with a really bad elephant" He won.
It took me time to appreciate Colin. Now, I love him. I wish I saw more of him on TV and in movies.
I've said for decades Ryan and Colin are the most underrated comedy duo there is. Love hearing how they grew up together. Not surprised at all.
Colin is very humble.
He deserves multiple chances. Both Colin & Ryan, talent never ends!
Sandy so young! Course I look very different now, too!😄
Would be fun to see Colin on QI.
I recognized her but forgot her name. I've seen her in a few things and have liked her. Her appearance on Big Fat Quiz was a good episode.
@@NotKyleChicago Yes it was. I've also been watching QI with her hosting.
I used to skip school and watch Whose Line (and Unsolved Mysteries). Colin was always my favorite! I’m 36 so this gives me inspiration to keep going ❤😊
Colin may criticize his performance, but the sweater was a banger.
I always assumed he'd already been a moderately succesful comedian--stand-up, probably--who just happened to be recruited for the Whose Line cast.
I've been watching Whose Line since I was 15 when it was on ABC. And since then, I've seen Colin, Brad, Ryan, Jeff, Chip, Greg live various times and I've even met Ryan, Chip, and Jeff. Nice and funny guys. Always a treat when I go see them. They are comedy gems. Each and every one of them.
I wish more of the UK episodes would get a DVD release.
How many of them did they publish? Even the US series only got two seasons on DVD.
@CertifiedDoc The UK/Clive Anderson show had the first two series (or seasons for us yankees) put out on DVD by A&E. Meanwhile, the first US/Drew Carey hosted season from ABC was released in two parts on DVD. I don't know of any other home releases besides these.
You can find them online pretty easily.. I think someone even uploaded every episode to youtube
The entire first 8 series (even the pilot) are on CZcams, just the last two you need to search for. Scratch that, the last two are on the same channel too.
There's a British comedy channel on Pluto that shows UK Whose Line in several hour blocks.
Colin and Ryan, one of the best comedy teams ever, and, yes, that includes the greats like Laurel & Hardy.
4:30 Sandi Toksvig!
I was just wondering if I recognized that voice!
Before she embraced... "modernity"

@sgtjonzo theyre mad she cut her hair short. Or maybe that she's gay. Who knows or cares which it is?
You can even see that he was pretty nervous in the US Whose Line show. There's an episode where he resorts to some pretty dark humor and tries to snap himself out of it.
I’ve met Colin twice! Once when he was smoking near a skip, and another at 1am outside of a 24 hour restaurant.
Ryan and Collin together are comedy geniuses. Thank god for Whose Line UK.
Friendship saves the day again!

This clip is gold. Thank you for posting.
Mad respect Colin!
Colin is a comedy genius.
This is awesome. I loved Brad, too
Colin seen you in the American version and I thank you for it. Had me laughing numerous times in my teens.
Colin is a Legend!
I wish i can meet Colin, Ryan, Wayne, Brad, Greg, Chip and Drew 😂 my fav tv show ever, i miss it!
That last skit. Haha, Jesus!
Man he's so knowledgeable and wise! ❤
Was just thinking about the old crew a few days ago.
Great show!
I remember a very early episode of Whose Line where Ryan also didn't seem to know what he was doing. I don't think he got a single laugh. Hence, it kinda irks me whenever I see comments about how unfunny a one-time guest was.
This is why we love Colin
colin was the BEST!
I'm from the town where Colin was born. Kilmarnock, scotland. Would love to meet him..please Colin come back and say hello. See how bad Kilmarnock still is lol. Yeah it's not too bad😅.
colin and ryan are the martin and lewis ,the abbott and costello of our time
I can't imagine Who's line without Colin and Ryan. Glad that happened :D

Sandy and Colin so young!
How can something be that small?
I would have said:
"Your eyes are just that big!"

Thanks to Mr. Weebl, "Colin Mochrie's got his bum out!"......... :P

Colin and Sandi?! How have I never seen that?
Colin Mochrie and Sandi Toksvig... There's two people I never imagined working together.
Don't have what it takes I just love what I do. I am better than most.
Colin with Richard Simmons on who's line is one the best sketches in TV history. Check it out. The one with the Jet Ski. Freakin hilarious
Saw and met the man at a small local event in WA. Kindest dude

Colin should have nailed that first chance with "Salmon Man".
The ending though
4;12 Whoa! Colin with hair.
Whose line got me through some tough times. Honestly though there were times when Colin was godlike on Whose Line. Just straight gutbusters throughout the whole episode. Hard to believe he ever sucked.
❤
Holy nuts, Sandi was on Whose Line with Colin?
Colin could be hit and miss, but my god, when he hit, he HIT. Wayne Brady and a lot of the others were quick and consistently funny, but EVERY SINGLE TIME the show made me laugh so hard I cried, It was because of Colin. He was a much bigger gun than he appeared to be.
is that Sandi Toksvig?! 4:26
His, first, Whose Line Is It was with Sandi fking Toksvig.........
LIke 20 years before I knew her...
His First 1..........
I am just now finding this out, I've never seen much of Whose line is it but I've seen a few over the years, I can't realy remember.
God yes we had channels showing mostly american shows when we got Freeview for the first time going digital in the transitionary period.
God I forgot about all that, ABC is the only 1 I can recall atm but there were a few, hah, Tool Time, 8 Simple Rules, hah, wow that feels so long ago now.
What's that stuff on top of Colin's head?
It's captain hair.
Idk, but it's freaking me out!

I went and saw them at "a night of improv" similar to whose line but no drew carey or Wayne Brady... colin signed autographs and hung out with fans afterwards, greg proops and a few others as well. But Ryan styles did not... i dont know if that was the usual but i love colin all the more for being there

Greg Proops? He was on a lot, Clive used to take the piss out of America with him.

Crazy how Colins first time was bad cuz he disobeyed the one unbreakable rule of improv
Yes, and?
You dont try to change what the other improver adds to the scene, you work off it and make it fit the scene, no matter what it is
