Did this happen to be on Dec 23 of last year. Me and my wife were on the breeze and was definitely rough seas. Will be back on the breeze in a few weeks from Dec 23-28
This was November 16th of 2023. I’ve definitely noticed winter cruising tends a tad bit rougher than other parts of year. Still a fun time nonetheless. Enjoy your cruise!🛳️😎~Nick Jay~

I sailed on the carnival vista in December 2019. I’ve been on TONS of cruises and that weather going back to Galveston in the winter was the worst!

I just got back from a carnival cruise out of New Orleans this month. A couple nights the seas got a little rough but a couple nights youd thought you were on land. The rest were still pretty calm. I had a great 6th cruise.

Thanks for the video. We cruise on the Breeze in August. Every season it’s a different concern. I hope we avoid hurricane weather..But I was wondering is the Taste Bar still offered?

Unfortunately, to my knowledge the Taste Bar has been removed from most Carnival ships and replaced by the alchemy bar.🥂If you have any more questions feel free to ask & I’ll be happy to answer! What’s the taste bar and what’s the alchemy bar ?
Thanks for the reply. I have watched videos and we plan to try the Alchemy Bar mixology and their Martini tasting along with that bar snacks
Alchemy bar offer the best service, drinks and often bar appetizers. They also offer Martini testing and mixology classes.. The Taste bar was offered on some ships. They would provide quality samples of certain cruise..

We had that on the Celebration, the shaking was so bad the electrical power broke for an hour!

What cruise line do you recommend for a fun and safe trip ? Also what time of year do you recommend we not cruise ? Any ports you would not leave from ? Any islands you would not get off on ?
Hi Ms. Cheryl Baldwin!👋🏽 For a fun and safe trip I’d recommend Carnival to you! Carnival has a great, friendly & fun atmosphere that’s unmatched by any other cruise line out there! If I could recommend that you’d not cruise a certain time of year (from my experience) it would be around November/December as the ocean tends to be the roughest then. At this time, there are no specific ports that I would avoid. I recommend that you’d try and experience any & every port that you can despite low reviews you may see online because their experiences won’t always be like yours or vice versa. Hello we have our first cruise in july, 5 day on the BREEZE seems like a great ship so my wife gets sick sometimes in the car so we are worried about her getting sick on the ship. So my question is what do you think is the best for sea sickness? She doesnt like to take pills so do the wrist bands work? What have you heard and also how long does it last. Hi Duane Fisk!👋🏽Yahoo!🥳How awesome! You’ll absolutely love the Breeze! As far as sea sickness goes, I wouldn’t worry about it too much, especially since you’ll be cruising in July & the Breeze is a gigantic ship. However, it is always better to be safe than sorry so I would always recommend carrying some motions sickness meds with you. I personally haven’t heard much about the wrist bands, but I do know that the seasickness ears patches are effective.
