  • This fight was incomprehensible to me when I started, but its not too hard once you get into the rhythm. It's still annoying having to guess if you will clear his hidden triggers or not.
Here's a basic text guide to accompany this.
    -100%
    -normal turns. Apply perma debuffs
-clear a 30 hit or 5 skill omen
    -repeat until 70%
    -His HP resets to 100%
-1 turn of guard to bring up the trigger (or skip this step if you were the one to pass 70%).
-1 turn of guard as he does No Limit.
-He jumps up. Use all pots. Use your high fire cut skill and turn off charge attacks. Attack, dont guard.
-100%-50%: Either an ougi turn or a skill turn. Spread your damage out and keep your buncles up.
-50%: BBB trigger. Have a fire cut ready for here.
    -25%: Another BBB trigger.
-50%-0%: Exact same as before. Keep the rhythm of damage and defence.

Even a year later I still very much appreciate this guide. Really wish more guides were like as an actual honest to goodness intro to the fight rather than racing setups.
Guide does the following to set it apart from most guide content that I've seen:
    * Does a basic walkthrough of all the relevant mechanics that you'd find in the wiki page, but without needing to cross reference what those mechanics/omens are because it doesn't refresh the animations to skip them (that you would do when racing for blue chests) and also they got it right there on the side of the footage!
    * Actually shows BASIC grid/options/alternatives to get into the fight rather than a showcase setup designed to farm the fight.
    * Tells you the relevant "gotcha" moments the raid throws at you that could wipe you if you're not prepared.
    * Shows failure states so you understand how you can die very easily.
    * Alternative characters for comps/strats for cheesing/mitigating said raid wipe failure state mechs.
Really can't say how much I appreciate personally seeing not a single refresh during relevant footage. Like that's fine and all for personal play but guides really should what it is you're trying to help people understand!
Thank you for showing me how the Better Business Bureau (BBB) can really come from out of nowhere to jump down to ruin your day and how to mitigate it :D

Hey great guide there! I am still a big proponent of kengo in this raid because of the amount of buffs it can offer.
I want to add that you can Anne sk4 to dodge one of the BBB's on 50/25

So can't say I want to go YOLO on this raid.
Still, thanks for the tutorial, at least it gave me a bit of peace on to what to do and who to bring!

I would stronger reccomend Kengo setups for this. It is significantly easier to mash. You will need Vajra, Haasellia and Anne/Wamdus for these strats so keep that in mind, otherwise try doing Viking setup which you can look up (it uses Lily buff extension + buncle to get 0 damage turns).
    - You should mash the first phase to build up your ougi damage so you can later on clear the triggers later on. Guard on triggers you cannot cancel.
-At 70% attack so he does his trigger, and then guard + some damage mitigation to be safe; even with Guard on Primal grid for me sometimes does like 20k damage.
    - You only need to do 10 million damage every turn and take less than 10k damage on characters to be able to not get hit by his triggers.
    - If you use Wamdus then the damage mitigation basically nullifies all damage he does. If not then your next best bet is Anne which can be used in Kengo in combination with buncles to reduce damage to 0. Depends on how much stack he have for Wamdus, he won't trigger his skills but if stack is high he will chip down health by doing 1k damage etc. with the 5k mitigation.
-The key for the second phase is to get your damage cuts up; consistently ouging with Wamdus/Anne. For Wamdus you would do a chain of fatal chain one turn and Wamdus ougi one turn for the mitigation; for Magna you will need some defense stacking to fully tank the attacks. Anne needs to ougi every turn (so make sure to save your skills when you need them) in combination with having a buncle up to get almost 100% cut. Wamdus is slower than Anne but safer; Anne is faster but less stable.
-Wamdus havers can use their s1 to get unchallenged on ougi for the 70%/50%/25% triggers. As for Anne you can use Bellringer angel for the first trigger (gives unchallenged) and then buncle + Anne ougi for the remaining strats.
Summons for Wamdus users should be one Qilin for panic s1, and ougi charge bar characters like Uriel/Kaguya etc. You want that ougi as much as possible, and mash as humanly possible so you can get to Wamdus s1 turns.
Anne is fairly straightforward, just bring buncles and if you want a panic Qilin to use her s1.
I ran both setups with primal and magna for both character. Wamdus is easier to hard carry but Anne is still strong enough to get 4 mil blue chesting.

yeah i also reccommend kengo it was just much smoother and more reliable to farm with since you can easily create a loop in phase two and barely have to click much besides fated chain and haselia s3.

    @branflakes4009 Před rokem +7

I really like the production quality for this guide, but I respectfully disagree with the idea that Kengo is harder than Paladin. The idea of kengo is to consistently chain wamdus' damage mitigation or Anne's fire cut with buncles to consistently have a high level of survivability so that mugen will not activate his omen from dealing too much damage to you. It becomes very simple to rotate wamdus' ougi and FC with kengo, vajra, and haaselia, and with wamdus' unchallenged on S1 to deal with 50 and 25 it becomes the easiest way to run this raid.

This. Other setups are probably easier to put together in terms of needing less limiteds but Kengo is KING

Here's a question. Not just for you, kind sir, but for anyone reading this. So far every mugen video uses one or more of the following: vajra, anne, wamdus, Lancelot, ulb eternals. I don't have any of those and my water eternals are mlb. So I would like to ask, is there any other way or setup to do this thing without those? Or is Mugen that restricted of a raid?

    • @Nekomania
      @Nekomania Před rokem +3

Somewhat at least for kengo and paladin parties. there are some emnity based teams that use viking, lily and feower to create like 10-15 turns of damage immunity and just race for honors. With time more units will be useable but for now it's a bit more restricted and it's somewhat understandable being an endgame raid.
