I rarely fast travel in the game because it's great driving around with the radio on.
Wish it had more interior locations in the buildings, if it had that the game would live up to my expectations.
Night City has always been the real star of the game.

I started to play it with the release of phantom liberty and i love the gameplay story music and characters, one of my favorite singleplayer game on my steam.
Tip: get the double jump cyberwear as soon as possible for parkour.

You can get double jump early and parkour all over. Especially fun in Japantown

There is allot of places thta are layerd over each other.
I remember on release, I found this unfinished area for the subway/train. Completely empty but you could parkour all the way to the top of skyscrapers and get to some empty areas. Not sure if they ever fixed it, but it was cool.

You wouldn't put a fighter jet engine turbine in a prius and NOT expect catastrophic issues not to occur would you? so why did nobody stop to think that maybe putting this game out on shitty consoles wasn't the best idea?
I bought this game day one and when the outrage started going I couldn't figure out what the hell people were talking about because I had almost zero bugs on P.C and the graphics were phenomenal even on my shitty laptop 2070 (yes even on release so your lying if you say otherwise the raytracing made this game look insane), quest design in some areas was borked and cops didn't function properly but guess what? Maybe if they didn't have to waste resources trying to fit a jet engine on a prius with consoles perhaps all of that stuff could have been sorted and we might be getting way more DLCs for this amazing game but now we'll never know what could have been.
@@James-cp9uh personally i cant agree with that but i know many can, game looked amazing on pc and i didnt get that many bugs surprisingly. even ran semi decent on my 1070 getting 40fps on good settings. cant say the same for starfield however, it objectivily looks much worse and does not even run, lowest settings 20fps max. such a horridly optimized game i cannot see the praise for it.
Playing Cyberpunk 2077 after Starfield is like eating Wagyu Steak basted in French Truffle Butter cooked by Guga himself after eating a 2 dollar-boiled steak cooked by Asmongold.

as someone who only played cyberpunk on release and for a few weeks before giving up because of all the bugs. it feels strange seeing that intersection and not hearing explosions as the cars glitch into objects as they spawn.
Makes me want a prequel set in 2020-23 to see the original Night City before it got nuked.
Yes. Honestly the city in the flashback sequences had a more gripping atmosphere than the 2077 Night City

Night city feels like a real city, no joke. The scale is on point, it's not like Los Santos for example, where it's supposed to be LA, but its just too small.

This game came out 3 years ago, still riddled with bugs, dialogue doesn't matter in this game, can't build your own apartment, can't build your own vehicle, barely any buildings to go into aside from your apartments, shops and a few mission chosen buildings. Yeahhhh this game isn't that great tbh. Only good thing it has going is the story and the updated skill trees. Even character creator doesn't matter because there isn't a 3rd person option

It looks like this at launch, too. It's so bizarre to see so many people reacting positively to the exact same things they reacted to negatively years ago when it launched. It's just people parroting the popular narrative.
Well, yes, I am surprised that the game is so praised now when the improvements are not so groundbreaking as one could think based on comments and reviews. Though I still didn't reach DLC content, but started new character from scratch and didn't yet leave Watson.
But not to be misunderstood. Yes, the game is improved and has less things which were annoying as hell in the past or which felt like rushed implementation of some idea. What we had 3 years ago was an alpha with lot of half baked features. They did improve a lot though still not enough to fight for a spot on my private top 5 of the games I have played, where Witcher games are as number 1 :).

It’s definitely at least overdrive RT. Hard from that scene to see if it’s PT. I got the same pc myself & I prefer just RT cause PT adds frame gen & makes it feel heavy.
Having played cyberpunk enough it doesn't appear that he has pathtracing on
plus I mean even if you have a 4090, pathtracing feels like shit even with frame generation because the internal fps is so low that the input lag is terrible
@@T1tusCr0w Overdriver RT = Path Tracing. It was called Overdrive before and people still refer to it by that name, but it's just Path Tracing now & Ray Tracing is just Ray Tracing. Also, Path Tracing doesn't add FrameGen, but I assume you meant Ray Reconstruction. FrameGen can be enabled even without Ray Tracing ON. Also, from how the light behaves on certain surfaces I'd say he's even playing without any form or RT. But it's hard to say since it's day time and he isn't exactly looking at anything glossy.

Because it automatically activates the frame gen which I feel makes the controls a tad heavy. Don’t get me wrong, it looks like god himself shat on the screen 🤣 but after a bit of looking at stuff in wonder. I just turned it off to play the game with more response.

Was my favorite single player game day one. I didn't buy into the hype and fell in love. Now it's 10x better than it was and jesus.....it's going to be a while till something tops it. BG3 though....almost had my top position taken haha.
100% Agree It's the number 1 game.
BG3 is much better in terms of story. Your choices make a difference. You're playing for yourself. While cyberpunk is fully linear game(same as gta 5, rdr 2, TLoU, God of War e.t.c.). You playing as a character with his own worldview. The choices you make throughout the game don't affect anything in the course of the game. The variety of the story is limited to a couple of endings, which are also chosen at the end.
In short, BG3 is an RPG and Cyberpunk is an action looter shooter.
What's the problem? CD Project Red presented the game as if it were a game with a variant branching story. Which is what I expected. It's cool when you haven't heard anything about the game and have no expectations. Like Asmongold.

i just came back to cyberpunk after the botched launch. is grand theft auto any better to you? seems to me like theres more to do in cyberpunk than either GTA or RDR2@@CrowofYharnam
in cyberpunk you have not only missions but different side gigs, then you have cyberpsycho fights, police backup missions etc. then you have procedural events take place for world building like gang shootouts, blockades, police busts etc. im so glad i waited to play the game. gta feels shallow in comparison now that ive seen their police system mixed into an actual RPG.
and were not even talking about equipment upgrades, crafting, borderlands style weapon collecting and RPG character builds. and my favorite part of the game has to be the environmental storytelling. something really only matched by the fallout franchise. it makes starfield and GTA5's maps feel sterile in comparison.
@@jimster1111 you're delusional you can fly helicopters, planes, drive boats, submarines in gta, there's water exploration there's sea life, wild life, mountains, parachutes, tons of mini games and sports activities, it's a completely different beast compared to Cyberpunk which is just driving cars and bikes in the very linear nothing to do open world
Only bad thing about the game is it gets too easy at the end when you can just run around oneshotting all enemies and tanking all damage. That's also kinda fun, but there's no challenge unless you make the challenge yourself.
Fortunately, if you feel the game has become too easy after becoming op. You can always change to the higher difficulties to give you more of a challenge. But when it comes to these games, it's usually about the power fantasy of destroying your enemies like fodder.
Yeah I was playing on normal and had to jump it up to hard when I got to around tier 4/5 gear. Sometimes still one shot but also get like half healthed in one shot by some enemies
after the patch, I don't think it's easy anymore. In fact, it's hard. 6 hp bars enemies are something to think about
Pretty sure they beefed up the difficulty with this patch.
I'm playing this on my first time on very hard and can see how it can still get easy after a while, granted I'm playing a netrunner, quickhacks can really trivialize a lot of things.

since launch it didn't have loading screens, it only had them when you Die and restart checkpoints or loading a save
Just like Neon City. Except that it's probably 50 times the size, 50 times the quests, with dozens of vehicles, driving, radio stations, gangs, cop system, an actual map, body augmentations, better art overall, and way better writing and voice acting. Also with shit texture resolution and low-poly object models, though :P
