@@sa-mp5iw If she was a badly abused or a truly neglected rescue, she would let no human near her and she would have been riddled with worms, fleas or mange.
None of those things are true.
The dog is in a better home and is now brushed, but that's all I can say about this video.
This dog wasn't given a shaded area or stimulation. A chain is mean, but what's equally mean is people keeping dogs in small apartments and without another dog or puzzles to play with.

Right? Every time I have approached people who were neglecting their animal, they always hasten to say how they are SO good to their dog. I'm very surprised the people were willing to admit that maybe their dog would be better off someplace else.
May they suffer for what they did to her.

I don’t understand why owners have to “negotiate” anything in these situations. You clearly don’t want them and don’t care, so give them a fair chance to be loved like they deserve.
Because too many people are stupid, self-absorbed, and greedy.
Because they are MISERABLE people and miserable people hate seeing others happy, including animals that they don't want. Miserable people want to drag everyone else into the same pit of misery that they created.
Maybe "negotiate" means surrendering her in exchange for money.

You can pitch in by volunteering at a shelter or rescue, fostering, donating $$$$, finding the shelter's wishlist on their websites and sending along some much-needed food, toys, bleach, food, etc.

I foster mom and kittens with my own money, donate all year around to different organizations and I have my own feeding stops for feral cats around my area. Just because I don't post everything I do that doesn't mean that other people don't do the same.

Some people don’t understand dogs are full of love, compassion and dedication.
The owners needed to be negotiated into a prison sentence for animal cruelty against this poor puppy.
Just to make a point here: all animals do that, be it a duck, a pig, a sheep, a horse, a cat, a parrot, You got it.

The same mentality in people who send sheep, cows, chickens, ducks to the slaughter house after they suffered for 3 years of their 15-40 year life span.
What would we do without these wonderful, selfless human beings that dedicate their lives to saving animals - animals that have been abused, ignored and discarded BY humans. Animals are NOT ours to eat, wear, neglect or abuse in ANY way and that goes for ALL animals - not just dogs and cats!!

It breaks my heart to picture Faith as a little puppy, feeling happy and safe with her mama and littermates, then torn away from them and chained to a wall to live in a pile of garbage and rocks. Like, chaining her up wasn't terrible enough, they couldn't even give her one item of comfort. Why even own a dog if you don't really want anything to do with it.
Owning a pet should bring joy to the pet and its family!!
