Yann Tiersen's music is beautiful. Watched "Goodbye Lenin!" for my history class this year and was totally amazed at its music composed by him. Absolutely great film i must add

That's actually the entirety of A Change of Season, though the melodic motif appears in many of the longer pieces from Harry Potter!

Harmonics on the 5th and 12th are called natural harmonics and on the other fret they are called artificial harmonics, I think you can find a tutorial on youtube :)

Funny you should mention that! I had initially planned for that to be the first piece in the video. I arranged it but there was a part in the faster arpeggios that was really awkward and ended up not sounding very good, so I ultimately subbed in Comptine last minute. I would like to revisit that one at some point though!

Search for "Yann Tiersen - Comptine d'un autre été", that's the true title of this song. You'll get way more results than for "la valse d'Amélie".
