ive started streaming recently like 1 week ago and these tips are really helpful, i stream about 2-3hours and my average views are 2.8, i have 60 followers for now, im trying to improve on the quality of my stream, right now i stream geometry dash and i think its a good idea for now because im above average at the game and the update is coming soon so there might be more people getting into the game then rn
Update:I have done today a 2 hour long livestream and got +12 followers and 8 people were watching me all the time

Just started the video and already broke the first rule hahaha. I just see it as, I’m going to game I’ll just stream what im playing whether people watch or not. Money and viewers to me are just a bonus. Haha i have streamed 6-12 and in between and im not an affiliate hahaha. I just want to game. If people stop by then cool and if not then no worries I’ll still enjoy my game lol.

The only reason I stream on twitch for several hours at a time is for that 1 viewer that watches my channel. And also I just leave it on in the back as I typically play minecraft for hours at a time

as a twitch affiliate are you allowed to multi stream on other platform like CZcams simultaneously? coz on twitch help page is says no but i have seen many affiliates doing it and they still have thre affiliate
No, twitch has the rights to your content for 24 hours. That being said people still multi stream with an affiliate contract. Just means twitch hasn't found them yet lol
@@KrisStojy I believe that it was lifted due to the new update to remove exclusively so multistreaming is now allowed I believe! Could you do a video on it

I’m really struggling on the average views part. I have 202 followers, as for this month and last alone I’m already at 15/7 days and 36.5 hours out of 8, but less than 1 average views. Even when a friend gave me a decent sized raid it didn’t bump it at all.
Raids won't count towards average unless the viewers refresh the stream, as for trying to grow, posting content on social media platforms and networking is the best way
I started streaming a week ago, and I’ve had two streams that lasted 8+ hours and got a 4-5 viewer average. So did I just get lucky?

Double check in your creators dashboard to e sure everything is checkmarked. Next thing is they will send you an email welcoming you to the affiliate program

@@boots1622fan I streamed Apex, Fortnite, Rocket League, Minecraft. Sometimes League Of Legends. It’s mainly because I’ve made lots of online friends. I also told people i know personally to give me a follow. I even asked some of my family members to watch my streams and keep it open on a tab.
@@boots1622fan I also talk in the streams. And I think that’s a good way to attract new viewers. u don’t just wanna stay mute the whole time. Gotta talk to your audience and keep them engaged in your stream

Analytics doesn't matter stream for as long as you want so more people will watch longer is honestly better because of that I stream for 18 hours and got 5 followers

i’m currently on day 4, i have 49 fans but stats is saying i have 40. i actually exceeded my hrs . Currently at 9.55hrs with an average view of 1.5 so i’m not sure how i’m suppose to fix it?

So my 30 day mark was yesterday and ever since I been getting consistent viewers but for some reason twitch accounts for 1.35 am I still able to hit affiliate even tho my 30 days are over?

Could be a rare case of making affiliate and people unfollowing them. Once you reach affiliate you can't lose it. Unless you do something bad lol

I think u need an average of 3 viewers for 7 days I’m only assuming 7 days because one of the requirements is stream for 7 different days, I think because twitch wants to see if u can keep a consistent viewership because that’s what makes them and you money at the end of the day when u become an affiliate or parter. I fucked up my days but I’m close to affiliate I went from averaging 2 viewers to about 11 in a few days so I’m way ahead of the average viewer requirement, I gotta just keep my momentum and wait for those 2 average viewer streams to disappear from my 30 days

You need to meet ALL requirements. So yes you'll still need 50 followers
