You can still wrap it around the item. You just have to make sure the pretty side is facing forward after wrapping.

Hi Chris! It dried just fine. I used a light hold hairspray so it didn't get too stiff.

I didn't measure 😳 I'm sorry. Longer strips will give you a bigger cotton candy. Mine was pretty small.
love the video and it turned out so cute! for the glue, would a hot glue gun work instead of Elmer’s?
It will work as far as holding it, but you may end up with some webs from the hot glue as well as some hard spots where the glue is. It may be more visible. If you're careful, it should work fine.
