Did you go through Hong Kong immigration then China immigration at the same time or did have to do a transfer in Shenzhen and go through China immigration there?

All the immigration checks were done in Hong Kong.

Nice video! Can you bring as much baggage as on a airplane? Where do you stored large baggage's?

Thanks! Yes, you can bring luggage just like when traveling by plane. We’re not 100% exactly what the allowance is though. But many people brought a bag or suitcase. Bagage can be stored above the seats or at the entrance of every compartment.

How long does the immigration take? How much earlier should one be at the station?

Thanks for the question! You can buy the train tickets online (I.e. via www.trip.com) or at the train station. But beware that tickets can sell out quickly. Another tip is the website www.seat61.com to get more info about train travel worldwide.
