I think like this: What does God want from me? Simple- be good, don’t judge, don’t harm, take care your family, have morals. So belonging to a religion is like the politics, divides people. I will try and be connected to God directly without the religion.

I don't want to be very religious also even though many people do that. I also try to give other pepple freedom to believe in God or in any religion they want and I try to avoid fighting with other religions and communities as much as I can. Thanks for sharing. Well mother, the thing tho, perhaps what you believe is already part of a religion's teaching.
Like, in the end you invented nothing new here.
So, im a muslim yeah. In islam tho, we believe that The Creator has given every human such natural disposition.
Including the instinct to believe in The One Creator/A Higher Being/etc.
Thats how people in isolated nowhere island can believe in The Creator. And thats what islam really means.
The word islam means submission to the will of The One Absolute Creator. Like, that Creator has no mother, no father, no kids, no neighbor, etc.
That Creator is not divided into parts.
So, its not like three in one god, not the human god, not god who regrets, or not god who forgets, etc (thats what separate religions by the way).
The prophet said, every new born baby is muslim.
Again, the word muslim means, somebody who submits to the will of The Creator. Like, if babies got hungry they would just cry. If they peed, they would cry again, etc.
Actually, there is already research on whether kids without "religion input" will rather be a believer or an atheist.
And the result was: kids by default believe in such Higher Being.
You can also return to be muslim again, by the way.
In islam, we rather use the term revert than convert. You were a muslim as a kid.
If you become a muslim, it means, you simply go back to your natural disposition.
Also, since you mentioned about guidance ("someone out there guiding you").
In islam during our 5 times daily prayer, we say: "guide us to the straight path. The path of those You have blessed, not those You are displeased with, or those who are astray".
So, its basically what you re talking about here.
Its the first chapter of the quran. If you have read it, you should have been aware about it, right?
Its true that The Creator wants us to be good to each others, but how?
Well, perhaps its the guidance you are talking about. The how part.

I wasnt going to invent anything new here. I read the Quran so yes I know my beliefs are wery close to it…and I feel wery close to Islam but still I belive to believe what I said in the video.

@@AnnikaMorina Again, we muslim believe that The Creator has sent so many prophets and messengers in the past. Those religions are most likely of the remnant of the previous prophet's teachings.
Thats how those have so much in common.
For example, in christianity even tho they believe in three in one god, but the bible is actually mentioning that The God is not human.
In hinduism, even tho they believe in multiple deities, their text actually says about One Creator.
The questions of yours will be answered if you learn islam, mother.
Well, learning doesnt necessary mean believing by the way.
If it suits you after you learning islam further deeper, you may embrace it.
Otherwise, you can believe whatever you want to believe.

Sister some people read the Quran many times and they will not accept it. And some people read just one page then, they become devoted to Islam. Hear where it plays the heart. Allah knows our hearts and intentions some don't want to see the truth it is up to your heart if will accept the message or not.
