- Hey guys in this video we're going to be reviewing the Nupste 2022 jacket and i'm going to let you know in my opinion if this jacket is worth it's $400 price point.

Great in depth review! I have 2 of the newer Nuptse versions and you're right about the nylon tearing. I've had that happen to both with small tears and the North Face does fix it but you have to send them away for a few weeks and depending on the fault if it's wear and tear you have to pay a premium to get it fixed so I've just left it. Otherwise I will still continue purchasing just because they look much better than other puffers out there and are timeless.

I just wanted to say that the older jackets tear more easy than the newer ones. A good friend of mine and I both have this type of jacket only hers is an older one. One day we thought it would be fun if we both got a rip in our jackets in the same place. We decided that on the sleeve just above the 700 logo would be the place to get the rip. So there is a sharp end of chrome trim on the back of my car. She ripped here's first and it ripped pretty easy. She made about a 2 inch long rip going up and down. So when I went to rip mine I couldn't get it to snage the sharp part of the chrome trim. Finally I had to slice into mine with a pair of scissors, making the rip as close to the same as here's. After a hole was started mine tore about the sane as here's did. We put polyester in the rips to keep the feathers from coming out and secured it with fabric glue. I ware my jacket a lot and so far it is holding up just fine. I love this jacket. Its is very comfortable and sentimental also.

Honestly judging in comparison of the older 2020 version of the nuptse to the the new 2022 version. its not worth that much in my opinion especially when it was a less price before, n done better. ppl will still say it's worth the new price cause they love the style. What I got is a less puffy jacket than the previous one looks like they literally downed the down. I like how they made the material a lil shinier theres little differences, but glad i got a deal, and paid way below retail for it at the north face store
I just hate that the hood doesn't have a hood I can't get this. But I still like it tho.

I would say you can get away with a medium since you’re only about 15 pounds heavier than me but a large would be on the safer side since you would want to layer up it seems

This jacket doesnt cost 400. If your paying 400 your getting screw. The retail price is 330. If you go to the north face store you might pay 380, they mark up the price.

Heck yeah it is. If you never tried a down jacket before you’ll really feel the warmth as down holds air hence the puffiness of the jacket. As your body generates more heat the warmer the down gets.
