  • I feel so grateful to have the opportunity to attend this university. In the midst of college decisions, I think it is really easy to lose sight of the fundamental privilege to attend any institution in order to pursue higher education. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out!

    Hopefully one day I will get into the PhD History program. The campus is beautiful. The professors are very nice and approachable, at least the ones I spoke to the first time I applied for the PhD program like Dr. Mathew Lassiter in Haven Hall. #GoBlue

    wait on the application there is a place where you choose either LSA or residential college, and in the vid ur saying to do LSA and not RC for central campus right? love the video btw!

    • @Lorenamissozuna
      @Lorenamissozuna  Před 3 lety

      it’s really your call for doing either! to my understanding, there are certain requirements to be part of the RC like a language requirement for example - ultimately, it’s totally your call! but I believe that if you join, you will still be placed in central (which is preferred for most people)

    Hi,
    Does UMich Ann Arbor offer full scholarships to out-of-state transfer students?
    I am considering Ross school and I am a community college student in New York.

    • @Lorenamissozuna
      @Lorenamissozuna  Před 3 lety +1

      hey! i’d contact umich’s financial aid office and i’d look into filling out FAFSA to see how much financial aid umich would provide

    Do you guys get to choose your roommates or do you guys not have that option?

    • @Lorenamissozuna
      @Lorenamissozuna  Před 4 lety

      Zayra Ciriaco some people do end up choosing their roommates but if u don’t, then you get placed with someone randomly (this also happens if u are in a living & learning community)

    Ann Arbor is a great college town. Metro Detroit has a lot going on, pro sports, concerts, world class museums, symphony orchestra, international border, should you need to flee the country. The weather is typical Midwest, 4 distinct seasons - it's really cold for about 2 weeks, most of the time, temps go up and down - it's gray, Great Lake Effect, lots of cloudy days - you will appreciate May, more than I can tell you. Michigan State is an awesome campus too. Our auto industry made us a rich, rich state for many years. Our institutions are the proof. Good Hunting - which you can do in The Great Lake State.

      University of Michigan has been the intellectual home for more than a century. New York Jews were banned by the Ivies, they found a home in Ann Arbor - that alone is incredible statement.
