  • Let's take the Wired Freedom out for a Sunday mid-morning roll.
    We'll ride through a few local shopping centers, the ASU West University campus, and check out a car show.
    This is a good video to showcase what riding a 'faster' ebike is like.
    Enjoy, and thanks for watching.

    I'm a gearhead, fat and old too 😅Love how the wired freedom is setup dirt bike style. Fast lil bugger. Problem for me is my short inseam. No other Ebikes out there with 20x4 wheels and that type of power? not the moped/motorcycle style neither. I have a motorcycle already.

      I found a chinese special for about a grand called the X20 and its pretty torque'y, tops at 35mph, sometimes faster and has a huge 35ah battery but its a 48v and it does resemble a motorcycle, which is my main reason for picking up a Freedom! Im not recomending it, esp over a Freedom but its pretty good for what it is!

    Once you try a 60v full suspension bike, you will never want a 48v bike again. I feel sorry for all those people who don’t know what they are missing. 48v is for little girls.

    I find SRP canals banks are a lot of fun, take you anywhere you want and go on for miles. As long as you don't fall in the water..

    Are the thorns as bad as Colorado? Have you had many flats or need slime or Tannus inserts or anything?

    • @RugersLastResort
      @RugersLastResort  Před měsícem +1

      Yeah we have goatheads which are terrible. I only run slime. Have not suffered a flat on this bike yet. Tannus too expensive and heavy IMHO. RUGER

    "I can say fatness because I'm fat" Prove it! Lol
    I hear you on not wanting a bike that looks like a motorcycle. Kinda defeats the purpose. Whole point of an e-bike is to be accepted as a bicycle so you can ride it everywhere. If it looks like a motorcycle, sure I can lprove it's an e-bike and that I can legally ride it there, but I'd rather avoid the drama of having that fact contested in the first place. And I also just prefer the way a bike feels. Also agreed on the handlebars, I'd rather be able to sit upright with higher handlebars, and not lean all the way over on low bars.

    Dude, what you're riding ain't an e-bike. An e-bike is an electrically assisted pedal cycle (EAPC) which is equipped with an electric motor to assist a rider when they are pedalling because if it doesn't require the rider to pedal, it ought correctly be classified as a motorcycle or moped. What you and most Americans ride can best be described as an "electric motorcycle or moped" because it does not require the rider to pedal. This difference may at first glance appear to be insignificant but it's a very crucial one.
