This was the song that introduced me to your music when I stumbled on it in a random mix of metal songs and covers, and the first time I heard this tears started pouring as bitter sweet memories came flooding back from the afternoons when I played Donkey Kong as a teenager. From frequently moving and always being a stranger in a new place, gaming was the only safe and familiar comfort I had but I couldn't remember what had gotten me into games or any of the titles I had played in the 80s or 90s because of several head injuries and memory loss. Besides just enjoying your music in general, several of the pieces of video game music you've covered has helped me recover pieces of my past that had been lost. I don't know if you'll ever see this comment, and I don't get to join your streams very often nor like to post stuff let alone anything like this, but after the chat at the end of your stream on 1/9 I felt like it was worth posting that you've made stuff that has had a real impact on people in ways that you may not even realize. For that, all I can say is thank you.

more than three months later and I'm still coming back to this nearly every other day. Listened to a lot of covers on youtube and (pretty much) all of FJ but the DKC2 soundtrack + metal is just so damn awesome. Overkill.
