Indian viewers loved the funny side of him and friendly banter with Vidit .... The twitter banter of him has a seperate fanbase...Personally, I like him bcoz his banters are mostly funny yet harmless to whom it is targeted....

@@michaelmassaro4375 I think people say he doesnt care because he doesn't have the boring approach to chess a lot of classical chess entheusiasts do, and approaches chess with infectious charisma, hence the audience he has and the people that love him. People think he "doesnt care" because he has fun doing what he does.
Watching someone as good as Hikaru play games were he plays several bad moves really helps me not get upset about my own blunders.

I think candidates is so heavy dependant on players mental composition and stress resistance, it doesn't really show who the best player is sometimes

@@kaytee8716the winner of the candidates doesn’t equate to being the best, magnus himself was lucky to win the candidates the only time he played thru. if luck went another way magnus would’ve never became champ that year, it really comes down to luck. everyone in that caliber is extremely skilled. you have fabiano as the arguable #2 in the world, yet he hasn’t won the candidates other than one time. then you have someone like Nepo who should be worse according to rating, yet he won the candidates more times than Fabiano.
The “streamer first” mentality is just insane.
