He needs to make them playable for the commoners, not everybody can understand the power of the GOD CARDS.
Dr. Boom's Scheme never was going to shuffle in bombs. That was just a rumour started from people speculating why it was so awful. In a Q&A, Dean Ayala said its original design was what Hagatha's Scheme does now, but they thought Warrior had too much board clear so they moved the effect to Shaman at the last minute.
Then what did Shaman do?! Shaman shuffled bombs!?

Hagatha's scheme dealt 1 damage to all minions which improved every turn. I believe it was a 5 mana card.

I would probably do millhouse to "battlecry: your opponents next spell costs (5) less, if you have 10 mana crystals, yours instead" to go with the millhouse 10 mana meme

A few thoughts:
-Aviana also has access to Incarcerate, the three mana spell that makes a minion go dormant.
-Someone else said it, but Boom's Scheme was originally Hagatha's Scheme's effect.
-I remember Disguised Toast making the case that Celestia could be used to grief Druid. He was memeing of course.
-Temporus had one meme use: pre nerf Illucia in a miracle giants could use Temporus to give the opponent your useless deck of cycle spells so when it came to your turn you'd effectively have guaranteed otk.
buff for the beast? make it a common so you cant roll it as your legendary in a pack
I make physical Hearthstone decks, and own a Duskfallen Aviana deck. I gave it Elusive and 10 Health (which is probably a little too much). Card is an absolute blast for both decks (if both are control ^^)
Can we get a top 10 most impactful cards ever made? Not most powerful, but most meta definining and class importsnt over long periods of time. So something that was broken and quickly patched wouldnt make it, but something like darkglare would

For Harbringer Celestia I always thought that "whenever this attacks a minion, turn into a copy of that minion" would be better because it lets you choose which enemy threat to counter. The stats should probably be adjusted to 4/5y, otherwise people might just run it as an aggressive tool, which we don't want for funny chumbo cards.
The only change that I’d do to the changes surrender to madness would be to give +3/+3. Even then it would still be bad, but at least then it does better to buff 1 cost minions since +2/+2 just feels awful on the one drops that would be filling your deck
In classic there were no tools to deal with gruul?
Polymorph?Hex? Deadly shot? Even naturalize? Sylvanas? Etc
Sure some of them were not played in most decks, but the answers were there..

Changing the text from ''after'' to ''whenever'' wouldn't make the effect happen more than once. All whenever does is it makes the effect happen before the enemy card is summoned ( because no two actions can happen at the same time), so it wouldn't get any post-summoning buffs, so it's actually a nerf.
Since the text reads ''become a copy of the enemy card'' it can only ever happen once. ''Become a copy'' means it loses all card text and gets the opponent's card text.
The better fix would be 4 mana 5/6 stealth after your opponent plays a minion copy it's stats.
That way it's everchanging and it keeps the stealth.
Something kinda interesting for Gruul would be death rattle or an effect, resummon this minion with -X / -X like rattle gore however either increase the mana cost or fiddle with how much stats it increases at the end of turn and how much it loses on death. It turns the card into more of a threat and even if you silence it, it’s still a body. Could be too strong for the era still.

Furnacefire colossus was very fun in Duels with the Charge spell :) you could also play a 20/20 pirate as Darius so it was a bit more consistent as you could also run that spell tutor card in warrior
First "charge can't attack heroes" card was released before boogymonster, it was a card from TGT

My first 3 legendaries were Tinkmaster Overspark (twice) and then Gruul
I think furnacefire colossus should draw a card for each weapon discarded. So instead of being a payoff for forcing a problem of too many weapons, its a way to fix getting flooded with too many
I like that idea too, I was deciding between that and a clear for this but felt like the clear is an incentive for putting furnace in your deck and draw just mitigates its downside a bit. I almost tried to put both on it 🤣

I like the change to Boogeymonster a lot. It makes thematically more of a danger - like an actual monster that’s attacking wildly and you need to address it before it gets out of hand.

Anyway, this was great! But I feel like you could make a whole series of these. Like, I can imagine "Fixing What's Broken 4" or "No Card Left Behind 6". The idea can be general, like this one. OR you can make it per expansion. Take the worst cards of that set and improve them. Then you can imagine decks they can fit in. For example:
Maexna: 7 Mana 2/8, your minions have poisonous
You can run this in aggro hunter.
Sure, bad example, but it could frame the new cards to have an alternate reality where it saw play and it could be a fun mental exercise.
"Guys! Maexna needs to be nerfed! She's too strong!"
I think bolvar could also have divine shield
Perhaps it could gain attack whenever a minion loses divine shield too?
Mill house’s new effect should say mana “crystals”, because it sounds like you need unspent mana the way it’s worded here. In fact I thought you meant unspent mana until the comment about manathirst.

Eh, I still think Celestia would’ve been awful at the time with that buff (ik you misunderstood how often it shifts but still). I feel like just making it a 4/5 that turned into a 4/5 copy would’ve been enough

on a once effekt it shude be cheeper and on aura more expensiv and the reson for that is becus even if u say get it on 3 u only get one card 4 free and with 4 mana u cant combo mutch. The thing i woude do for aviana in witch woud is +1-3 man and 2nd cost 0 but that if u designe card just for the set and not for futer play then i woude go for 3 mana battlecry first card play on each players next turn cost 0.
“Whenever” doesn’t fix Celestia’s wording. Perhaps it should say “*Stealth*. Continuously transforms into a *Stealth*ed copy of each minion your opponent plays”… or “*Stealth*. After your opponent plays a minion, transform into a *Stealth*ed copy of it /(keeps this effect)/“
HS does vague wording all the time to fit words in the space neatly. Whenever would be fine as long as they changed the effect, give the schwarbly animation that cards like scroll and chameleos have.
@@MartianBuu the problem isn’t that it’s vague, it’s that it’s misleading. “Whenever” has a very specific meaning in hearthstone that doesn’t imply that it keeps shifting, because it transforms. “Whenever” and “after” refer to the timing of the effect, not its frequency.
There’s a cool video of a Hearthstone dev talking about their wording philosophy, and I think it’s actually one of Rarran’s videos where they guess fake cards. They didn’t have to memorize the card to know if it was fake because they knew the rules they had to follow when writing the card’s text.

Boogey monster has the best art from old gods, its intro line is also great. Celestia has great art too. I think blizzard likes to make cards with good art bad on purpose.

Could somebody explain to me what's so boring about HS standart/wild atm.?
Asking since the last few vids all been rating and ranking and whatnot. And Dane, the other HS tuber I'm watching, isn't uploading much of anything either. So I wonder. Must be something sucky about HS atm. right?
Most of my opponents are either fast combo or tech piles, so win or lose it feels very unsatisfying.
@@MartianBuu Thought as much. Not the particular details but that there's a reason for no real gameplay recently. Not that I mind too to much. You're still very entertaining to watch. Just interesting to know what's up.
Temporus should reno your opponent to stay symmetrical. I know there's a paladin drag that does that but who cares
