It gets worse when you realize it was once a real mall with the exact same art statue
for those wondering what the parade is, search up "Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge Opening: Legends of West Dallas Giant Puppet Parade" and go to 2: 52 to see the statue,
there's also the actual mall and idle statue which @bassgrow figured out is from "DEAD MALLS OF TEXAS - Valley View Center Mall - Dallas" 7: 39
really cool and creepy statue, and WOW there must've been a lot of dedication to recreate the whole mall layout; no matter who did it.
Yeah spooky stuff
Wait really it was real?
It was a mall in Dallas Texas@@RirichiyoShirakiin737
@@RirichiyoShirakiin737 yeah they held art events every so often but it was abandoned. The Giant was a master piece before Kane pixels made it scary
I’m fascinated by how the Giant deliberately tricks Wyatt multiple times. At first it pretends that it follows Weeping Angel rules where it can only move when you’re not watching it. And secondly that it can’t climb the escalators, only for it to later show that it was able to do both the entire time.
Not to mention how it ambushed Wyatt as he made a break for said Escalators by waiting just behind them
As if it is having fun tormenting him
@@Deusgo101yeah i think that maybe the giant didnt want to kill him immeadiatly. He just didnt go up the stairs cause he wanted to toy with him more. He got way more aggresive at the end cause the protagonist was reaching the exit.
@@SCP-173peanutI mean if youre a giant creature and u finally see a prey u can play with after who-knows-who decades , You WILL toy with it
It also shows that it doesn't need to roll. Watch right at the end. The cart it rolls on is there, but the rest of the giant is gone.
Interestingly the rolling giant isn't aggressive until he says he wants to leave. Before that it seems content to follow him much slower than it could.
Like it's lonely and doesn't want him to leave.
Mall's haunted.
yeah
Or it’s a predator toying with its prey
*racks shotgun*
"Mall's haunted."
if you really look at the video and when stuff happens, basically nothing out of the ordinary happens, that is, until wyatt says he doesn't like that thing.
immediately after that is when weird shit starts going down, like the mall turning on.
It's definitely the Gaint that's in control of everything somehow, at first the Gaint presents itself to him in a normal manner, like "Im here pls look at me" but as Wyed starts to act scared and almost disgusted of the Gaint it starts to get more aggressive with it's approach thil he says he wants to leave and get away from it, at that point it starts to hunt him trying to make him look at it, no mater if he's dead or alive (in the end when Wyed is dead hes directly staring at the Rolling Gaint, probably giving it what it wants)
Also everytime Wyed tries to go somewhere where he could get away from it or generally in places where the Gaint doesn't want him to go, the lights start to flicker and thunder sounds like it's trying to tell him to saying "don't go there" or "pls don't run away"
Also funfact both the Mall and the Rolling Gaint where real, but the Mall was closed down and demolished so maybe this is trying to tell the story of how the Rolling Gaint was abandoned in the Mall all one and it might miss it's creator because it almost looks like the Gaint put one of its branches infront of the picture of that one artist on purpose, like that one guy could maybe be it's maker
What I appreciate the most is the realistic movements of Wyatt as he runs. He runs into the wall and groans, he tried to duck the wires. I appreciate that sort of attention to detail. Makes it feel much more real.
His name is Wyatt.
@@Conorator yes his name is wyatt
@@tomforce8331 They called him Kane before they edited the comment.
Fun fact: The mall and the Rolling Giant were actually real at some point.
Kane Pixels referred to this video 'DEAD MALLS OF TEXAS - Valley View Center Mall - Dallas' on Wendigoons stream.
You should give it a watch!
Kane outdid himself with this one! Amazing work!
Yeah! Valley View! Its the one next to the Galleria mall!
@@mastermata6973I was wondering why it sounded so familiar! Kinda creeps me out know how close it was to me...
wait really,
Ohh
I even remember he mentioned he was inspired by a picture of the statue and mall in an old reddit post i think. 3 years ago?
A fun fact about this is that even though this is 3-D animated, the mall actually existed before it was demolished. Kane did a lot of research for this, and he did a very well done job on it.
Edit: 5k?! I was just stating a fun fact guys.
Exactly
I was legit thinking “kane how the hell did you get these documents bro who are you???”
Interesting
Pretty sure that "Rolling Giant" character was actually a statue thing in the mall, I don't have much info on it but I've photos of that thing in the mall on FaceBook, Google, etc, correct me if I'm wrong
@@fadi172Your correct, Wendigoon did a Livestream with Kane and Alex the creator of Mandela catalogue and Kane showed a lot of the information regarding the mall and the rolling giant.
It's honestly very surreal seeing a horror take on a mall i used to go to a lot as a kid lol
Did it look exactly like this?
@@unleashed3193 i havent gone to it but from irl vids im pretty sure its 100% accurate
thats very cool and i can imagine it being surreal, as you said, for you
as someone who literally GREW UP going to Valley View, it's insane how much detail Kane put into this. The layout, the atmosphere, the AMC, the play area, the shops- he got it down to a tee
oldest view is genuinely way scarier than the backrooms i was tense for practically all the videos
Moving dumbass statue trying ti kill you ;)
Yeah, especially part 3. The Backrooms videos didn't have a person constantly getting chased.
For me too, i think it was because im bored of backrooms, while this one is new, so i dont know anything and expecting something scary, just like the first time i know backrooms
Yes
this series emphasizes the fear of the unknown very well, much better than back rooms
I’ve never been more tense and nervous for a main character until Kane entered the picture😮
Yeah I watch this hole series before 8 bit Ryan made a video
1282th like
yeah fr
@@susaffects6003ya same and then I watched Baz’s reaction which was also a really good video👍
@@susaffects6003This should say "I watched this whole series"
Here's what I know so far about this.
In the first video, it begins with Julien Reverchon (a french botanist who practiced in Texas, he passed away in 1905) looking at plants and takimg notes on them. Then it goes to Kevin Obregon building a giant art sculpture of Julien Reverchon for the Bridge o'rama Parade of the Giants in Dallas. The mall is Valley View Mall in Dallas. It was a real mall, it recently was fully demolished (that website you tried was the real link, but since the mall closed the website is no longer up). The art sculpture of Julien Reverchon after the parade was kept in Valley View mall nearby StudiObregon (The studio of the artist that built it. Side note Kevin Obregon also painted the octopus).
Why is the mall down there? Why is the art sculpture of Julien Reverchon chasing Wyatt? I don't know.
Wyatt in the beginning of the third video says he switched to business from botany, perhaps that pissed off the long dead botanist. for some reason.
CAN WE PUT SOME RESPECT ON THIS MANS NAME!? LIKE THIS COMMENT NOT THE REPLY, PLEASE GIVE THIS MAN THE LIKES HE NEEDS!!!
This literally explains everything in the series WHY AREN'T YOU PINNED????
I don't handle horror well. I feel better when someone else is watching with me.
That is why I am here. I'm watching with you.
And I thank you for that. I would never have watched without you.
Me too but i fee very paranoind and scared even watching horror with another person in real life or online
Eah 👍
I agree
I might be very wrong, but here's my theory:
The Rolling Giant, being obviously trapped in a space it cannot escape and alone for most of its time, has not been viewed in a very long time. We can see that its arms are fixed in a solid position. So the only way for it to harm you would be to ram into you.
So here's my theory: it wants to be watched. In the beginning it follows the Weeping Angels mechanic, it wont move when Wyatt looks at it, because initially, it thinks Wyatt is there to admire it. But once Wyatt explains that he wants to leave, the statue becomes aggressive. Starts to follow when Wyatt is looking, trying to catch him, going as far as breaking glass doors and smashing walls. It doesnt want him to leave, dead or alive, it wants to be admired and looked at.
At the end, the way Wyatt was laid was staring right at the statue, it got exactly what it wanted, to be constantly looked at.
Which also makes me wonder if Wyatt never really went down into the mall construct, it was a hallucination created by the Giant, and when it realised Wyatt wanted to leave it behind, it killed him.
Edit: after a couple more rewatches, I have more details to add onto the theory
The mall In the beginning, presents itself to be peaceful and nice and friendly, playing music, keeping the lights on and giving him nearly natural light from sky lights, a gentle ambiance.
And then the statue presents itself and tries to get what it wants, and if you notice, it's only after Wyatt states he wants to leave that the music stops. The lights begin to flicker. And in the end after he's found the only escape, it crumbles. Falls apart, the nature Wyatt is really surrounded by trying to cave in on him. No more lights. No more music. No more friendly. And in the end it /literally/ collapses in on him and kills him before he can get out.
Edit~2: I noticed the lights seem to turn off when Wyatt starts to go towards somewhere the statue doesn't want him to go, and Wyatt doesn't. Who would? It knows how to control people with fear if it means getting the admiration it wants.
Awesome theory I love the idea of it
I absolutely agree with you, do you think the Rolling Giant tried its tricks on the dead horses and other dead things that we see later in the video? And if the Giant could kill you by ramming into you wouldn't the other dead things outer appearances at least be messed up and somewhat crushed or do you think they also got the exact same fate as Wyatt?
@@crowmortemcorvus0420 That's kind of what I thought with them all flat on the floor and in the same place! It's like they found the exit and couldn't get to it before the Giant got to them! And since Wyatt has a bit more mobility, he got further- I think that might be why we see the Giant roll away at the end because it knew Wyatt had gone too far and it's physical form could do no more so it let the platform collapse
And the cracks halfway Through kind of make me think someone else has gotten to that point before- maybe it knew the beam would collapse before Wyatt got out
@@crowmortemcorvus0420 but that also makes me wonder if the animals were sort of the Giants test subjects? Like the guinnea pigs to see just how long it could keep someone in. I think Wyatt definitely got the closest to escape but maybe the other animals weren't so lucky
Personally I just think it's a sadistic monster that likes fucking with it's prey
In case you were wondering from where the hell does the Rolling Giant come from at 48:25 when Wyatt checked the whole area and he wasn't even there, at around 47:28 you can BARELY see him hiding slowly behind the biggest tree on the right.
In 48:25 it might be coming out of the store on his right cause you can see he walks past an entrance of sort, he might've missed him since it was too dark too see and that soun might be the sound of the store's gate going up knowing all stores are connected
Ooh yeah, good pickup, confirmed because you can actually see it move. Eek!
OH MY WORD THATS TERRIFYING I JUST SAW THAT
Does he appear throughout the video or is that the only time you can see him
damn dude, you're the only other person I've seen that spotted that
*Theory:* Wyatt's in the 'afterlife' living through a hallucination; a collection of unorganized thoughts, and senses he remembered before his passing.
I thought this when he mentioned the smell of _"..cut grass.."_ before he went through the door into the mall. Fast forward to when he was shown unalive lying face down on the grass.
Great theory.
Ok fire how did he leave the first 2 times and upload to CZcams plus at the start of rolling giants he says he’s late for school meaning he was there the past few days
@@omgitzthunderlol4598the giant uploaded it to CZcams, of course

@@thetoyodacar2264 the new episode just dropped
This series was honestly the most tense, intriguing, and baffling thing I have seen in ages. In episode two as Wyat was going down the stairs I was just waiting for something to just start chasing him back up them, and in the 3rd episode it got to a pony were I was just writhing uncomfortable I’m my seat just waiting for the rolling giant to appear.
This whole trilogy was so well crafted, and it really demonstrates how big of a genius Kane is when it comes of making this kind of stuff, even at his age. So many questions, and yet bassicly none of them have been answered, and may never be answered.
And the very fact that the mall featured in this video actually existed, and that he managed to recreate it to a T is genuinely amazing. I found out about this fact almost emeidntly after finishing the 3rd episode from a video posted 6 years ago. It felt so weird to watch, it just felt wrong.
Another amazing experience form Kane and another great video from you. Kane, if you ever by some godly magic see this, I would love to work with you some day.
i give you respect for typing these 3 paragraphs, even if nobody commented, which is why i am. also, i agree. kane is literally the new megamind with that brain. :)
I love that this is played in a universe where backrooms also exists only as a fictional content
I mean, it still can be the backrooms
@@Thy_Guardianit’s not part of the Backrooms.

@@randomhandle111 Ong I kinda liked this better it’s scarier than the backrooms though I want to know why and how the mall is there or got there
the fact that the main character knows what tiktok and backrooms is makes it so much scarier because this means this video is happening in our world.
it being real mall, and a real statue, probably doesn't help, i imagine.
Kane on his discord server said "currently we live in episode 4 of The Oldest View"
Wyatt is a vlogger and a tiktoker, so yes he knows
Knowing about the backrooms I’d never in a million years enter this staircase, you couldn’t pay me to step foot in this mall
Not gonna lie, after seeing this new series that Kane Pixels made completely out of CGI, I’m starting to feel really interested in Blender. Just seeing it’s capabilities from this is enough.
To me, it seems like Blender has a very steep learning curve. I tried learning some Blender, but it's similar to photoshop, where there are so many tools and hidden features and hotkeys that it requires months or years to learn how to use everything correctly. I'm assuming Kane started with Blender when he was around 13 or younger, considering how well he's doing everything.
i use blender to make simple collisions for game dev. its got amazing capabilities but yeah will prob take 2 years to get good at creating something close to this.
Bro this was the most disturbing and uncomfortable vídeo I've ever seen in my life, I literally stopped watching in half, but couldn't stop thinking about that cursed Giant and that strange Building for days, and after 2 weeks thinking about that video, I get the courage and finished, but it was a real torture for me
This looks _real_
I cannot believe how incredibly detailed Kane's work is. The amount of effort he must put into these videos is crazy. The fact he's able to get them finished and uploaded so consistently too is a testament to how talented he really is.
Hesus christ bro!
it becomes even more impressive when you realize it was made in blender
its even more amazing when you think about how young kane is too

Fun fact! The mall actually existed...Even the oversized statue...
Wow didnt see that
Just about everything in these videos existed at some point, including the entirety of the mall, which is now demolished, and even the rolling giant statue itself. This is basically just a really convoluted preservation project.
The reason your eyes are getting teary in beneath the earth is you probably have apeirophobia, I know it makes you think of that Roblox game but apeirophobia is the fear of infinity and never ending.
I think what I hate most about the giant is that with the dim lighting and the "camera" quality, his mustache looks like a gaping mouth or a wide, toothless smile 😨
For Fucking Real Though, It Does.
That Mf look like hagrid from Harry Potter for the ps1 bro😭😭

The door handle that allowed him to get into the mall "almost too easily" at 27:42 wasn't there during his first exploration at 17:00... now that is freaky
is the mall or the statue trying to lure him in when it first notice his visit
I think it's just a mistake.
Maybe, but it could also be the Mall “inviting” Wyatt in.
@@farizamayukh579Kane doesn’t do small mistakes like that, he does small details

Maybe there exists a phobia just for abandoned or liminal spaces? That could be an explanation to why Ryan gets these feelings when faced with this stuff

this is what i got: Kenophobia
Kenophobia is an intense fear of empty spaces or voids. It is a specific situational phobia, in which the individual experiences an irrational response to a situation that does not pose any actual threat. “Keno” is from the Greek word for “empty” or “blank,” and “phobia” is the Greek word for “fear.”

I live in dallas and I used to go to the Valley view mall all the time for clothes shopping!! It’s nice to see it like this is really cool. Nice attention to details by Kane. Not gonna lie being chased around a backrooms mall by Critikal Cacti sounds like a true nightmare.

the real statue, it's based on, [also called the rolling giant.] was likely designed that way, for easy transportation, as it was made in a school, and possibly [the man i got the info from, as it was his school, can't properly remember, since it was so long ago.] used in a play.
it was later in an art event, parade of giants, with other giant statues, which took place at valley view centre. he actually includes the promotional poster, for the exibit, and p sure you can vaguely make out the other giants in the bg, at some point.
though, pretty sure, in the real mall, this was later separated from the others, and moved near/above an entrance. which is likely why he was picked ? you can find photos and videos, and he stands out quite a bit, where he'd ended up. the real mall [and probably the statue, with it.] were recently demolished.
i'll shut up.
Technically it doesn’t even roll. At the very it end leaves the wheels behind yet continues to move, proving that it can do a lot more than it’s letting on.

Kane has truly become a master of horror ! He perfectly understand the unsettling atmosphere of luminal spaces and is able to progressively build up the tension before the true menace becomes real and unstoppable, as it is but too late for our desperate protagonist who can no longer escape death.
47:25 pay attention to the top right part of the screen. I’m 99% sure the giant’s face is in the darkness and is watching him here. This is further proven by the fact that the giant appears behind him a minute later. There are other Easter eggs and hidden details spread throughout the rolling giant video. Someone asked for more hidden details/secrets so feel free to read some, this will be a lengthy comment.
Watch closely at 1:00:00. You can see other giants when the light turns on. I’m not sure if they are alive or not. What I do know is that before this mall was abandoned, an art contest was held and those are some other submissions. The original rolling giant was also a submission for that contest.
41:51 these pictures are relevant to the mall and the giants
....jesus. That could be one of the others though on the RIGHT, as you can see when he gets to the rundown part of the mall when running away

I love Kane’s work. It feels almost familiar/nostalgic. I think as a kid we all had ideas of making our own movie and it feels homemade, which is really cool.
Kane is seriously so talented that conspiracy theorists in TikTok believed that "Beneath the Earth" was real and thought it was a secret site of a human trafficking ring set up by Biden 😂. Kane himself stated this on Wendigoon's livestream.
But seriously I can't wait to see if there will be more of this for this series. He did say that he has plans but is very busy with The Backrooms film at the moment.
Wow man that is wild. Imagine being so good at creating videos like this people think its real.

Hey Ryan, there's a chance that you might have Agoraphobia. Agoraphobia is a fear of being in situations or places where escape might be difficult or embarrassing. While it is often associated with open spaces, it can also include fear of places that are perceived as frightening or anxiety-inducing.
It got me curious when Ryan asked if there was a phobia for the super long stair case, so I looked it up. Bathmophobia is what it's called to feel anxious or fearful at the sight of stairs or steep incline. But then I looked up one for long hallways because i dont know which one he was referring to, and it was bathophobia, which is basically the unreasonable fear of depth. "A person might feel fear of falling into something which appears long or deep. " - Google. Hope that helps in some way, lol

This is genuinely so terrifying and you did a great job commentating without marketing it annoying. It was almost comforting. Great job
The mall, the schematics, and the giantS were real, but the building had completed its demolition around May of 2023, you see on the photos Wyatt took with the trail cameras dated AFTER the demolition completed. It was so trippy seeing the mall because I had the weirdest sense of deja vu since I had actually went there once.
If you're interested in all the small details Kane went in depth about this on Wendigoon's livestream channel(Wendigang).
I just want to say, that 3rd episode terrified me so much more than anything in the backrooms series did. Something about everything going on is so unsettling, the part right after the lights turned off and the giant kept rolling towards the character. First time I've ever gotten goosebumps watching a scary video that isn't just from some cheap jumpscare.
I think what made it scarier to me was the build up we had to the 3rd video, and the fact that Wyatt had many opportunities to turn the other way and go back home. He went into the mall once and was able to leave, this gave him confidence going in the second time that he had the same opportunity if anything happened. Only for him to discover that there is no way back out because the rocks were covering the staircase, I can only imagine the pure terror he felt knowing that he is trapped, and that there is some force or entity that knows he is in there and put the rocks there to keep him in. With the backrooms most people enter accidentally, but Wyatt has to live knowing that he put himself in this situation and practically sealed his own death, curiosity killed the cat if you will
kane pixels work has improved so much
the thing with the backrooms is that we all knew what to expect, the hum of the lights, the wallpaper, the lore, the entities. but an entire new series like this is just so terrifying, this looks *real*

The mall always looked so retro in my opinion sooooo he may have taken this while the mall was abandoned in the process of preparing to be demolished or Kane has done extensive research
Was waiting for ryan to watch this before i did so happy he finally reacted to it❤
On top of everything that’s already legitimately amazing about this, what blows me away is that I cannot tell the point at which we transition from real footage to CGI. Everything just looks so real.
The only real part was outside. The tree and forest was real, but the hole, staircase, and everything else was all completely CGI. You can tell, since when he's outside sometimes his hand waves in front of the camera, but you don't see a single glimpse of his body while in the staircase or the mall. And the black and green forest parts are real apart from the obvious color shift, and the giant's face in the trees.
I think what’s interesting is the the freshly cut grass Wyatt mentions is a defense mechanism used by plants when they are under attack, like grass getting cut is it getting attacked, stepping in plants etc would produce this smell, this almost kinda indicates that there is life down here, and there still is which already terrifies me, I also noticed that there were plants in the mall which could be explaining the cut grass smell as the life form down there might have been eating them to survive maybe P.S. I haven’t finished the video when making this comment
yes, that is true and you may be right, but maybe the reason why it smells cut is because the rolling giant or any of the other were moving over it and since they weigh an insane amount, they might be whats causing it to smell that way..
The rolling giant has plant hands, so that may have been the smell.
That would explain the forest on the other side of the gate at the pool area
Love these Long videos thanks Ryan ☺️
I love how when he saw that the stairs were broken and was wandering near those art pieces there was a piece of like leaf or sm that fell from the giant's arm there, now thats what I call forshadowing
The mall literally looks like when Minecraft structures spawn underground.
A mineshaft?
@@goldenkeeper4787 I think they're referring to strongholds, or things like the woodland mansion or pillager towers when they accidentally spawn underground/a little into the ground
@@pug7142 that definitely makes wayyyy more sense, thanks
That was actually my first thought: me when I’m digging to bedrock bc i wanna strip mine
I really enjoy Kane's 3-D work so much like seeing what he can do and how far he can push the bounds is so impressive, I enjoy the content very much but for me as a graphic designer and illustrator there is something so cool about the extra pieces of detail you notice. Like the time spent on these had to be crazy long. I'm so immensely proud that we have such creative people like Kane who can create such amazing videos that are built on the back of pure passion.
I'm an illustrator too and that's exactly what I was thinking this entire video. The amount of time and effort that went into this must be insane. The realism, the amount of textures, objects, materials, and obviously the camera work too. In 3D?? I don't even know how that's done.
When I think how long it takes me to do one A4 drawing, then I think how long this video must have taken, it makes me a little ashamed lol. These are really inspiring works
YESS!! ANOTHER KANE PIXELS REACTION.. I Really Like Your Vids 8-BitRyan!!! You Never Disappoint!
This was a experience I will NEVER FORGET well done.
I think the Rolling Giant is the scariest horror antagonist I've ever seen, it just triggers like every phobia I have. I didn't think anything could creep me out more than the Mandela Catalogue, but I was wrong
Literally same. Mandela catalogue is creepy but this made me TENSE.
@@verycoolhuman690 yup same
i think mandela catalogue gives the creeps to people with religious beliefs like me i was paranoid and had to get therpay cuz of it
@@universal_pawn7442 oh damn, really? are you ok?
i@@gojiberrii1261 i got better still i hate mandela catalogue i just hate entities that killed god something like skinamarink also is very scary
We need georainbolt to see if he can find out if the outside area before the hole in Wyatt's video is an actual place or it's all generated. It's super impressive.
Did some research and there is some overlap to the real world. Taken from reddit.
"It was set in the "Valley View Center" in Texas, USA. However, this mall partially closed in 2016, and the entire building was demolished in May 2023."
"The entity in "The Oldest View" is also real. It's a sculpture by Kevin Obregon, named "Julien Reverchon". This was crafted in 2012 when Kevin was in high school, intended for use in a bridge parade called "Parade of Giants" in Texas."
"In 2016, Kevin's art studio, "Studiobregon", opened an exhibition in the mall where the sculpture was prominently displayed. Unfortunately, this period coincided with the mall's decline in popularity."
"This was taken at Valley View center in Dallas Texas. The mall was turned into art galleries and artist studios, and this is a sculpture by one of the artists named Kevin Obregon. This photo was likely taken in January/February of 2017, when the mall evicted all its tenets suddenly for demolition. This piece was originally located by a big mural, but wheeled out to the main court during this time period to be in public view as the movie theater was still operating (and continued to operate until 2022). Wild to see this piece all over the internet, as it was right outside my gallery/studio and I saw it every day. The teens visiting the theater late at night did like playing pranks with it and moved it to various locations in the mall (as it was on wheels and security was non existent). Made it seem like it had a mind of it's own seeing it in the different spot in the morning than in the night before."
It's real. Or it used to be. The mall is based on a real one that was demolished this year, as well as the Rolling Giant. Kane discussed about it at Wendigoon's stream
Not the mall the hole
I bet the place outside the hole is real, Kanes effects could easily add a believable fake hole to an area like that
idr where i saw but kane showed a behind the scenes of him working on it and it showed that he filmed the area with the hole then added the actual hole and staircase in blender. He said it was near his city somewhere iirc
This is so well made to the point where I hate it, it makes me so paranoid to the point where I struggle to finish watching it, even at the lowest possible volume setting
i struggle watching horror aswell i get so paranoid aswell i feel like i could only lock my self in a metal room to not be
I agree. It’s very hard to watch and I keep finding myself shying away, scared to watch more.
It's awesome to see Kane branch out into doing stuff that isn't backrooms (even though it's based off an actual mall and art project and still liminal horror) he has so much potential and is already so talented even though he's so young.
I like to imagine that the giant actually couldn't go up a staircase and he just turned on the escalator at the end
Man Wyatt definitely has some sort of brain problem to want to go back there alone A SECOND TIME
Technically, he went down the stairs a third time. It’s just that the first time; he didn’t go down the stairs all the way. 😂
Nah bro this is so unbelievably horrifying. But so intriguing. There were a few times where it got so scary that I just wanted to click off, but then I wanted to find out what would happen, so I kept watching
Horror movies: spooky
Kane pixel’s videos: *nightmare fuel*
I really like the look of the monster and how it looks like a bunch of items you could find in a mall mashed together and I gotta say the face of it is both pretty darn creepy and also kinda funny
Ageed.wait ARE YOU THE GUY THAT COMMENTED ON BAZ VID ABOUT THIS!?!?!?!?
@@Gabrielmaragh228 No man that wasn’t me
I kept pretending that the giant was moist kritikal cause the face from a distance kinda looks like him
its a real art piece someone i dont know if it exists still or not because im pretty sure the mall which this video takes place in is demolished
@@doc3267"you idiot, you absolute buffoon" - the rolling giant, probably
I think the "thunder" that you reference may actually be the rolling giant rolling around with his wheels. When you think about it this way, it is a lot more scary when you do not see him
ITS INSANE HOW REAL IT LOOKS and none of that goofy backrooms stuff judt genuine liminal spaces and old malls creepy hallways and exploring the unknown
Kane Pixels really did a great job on making terror turn into actual horror, which is something not many projects can actually produce effectively nowadays. Terror is realizing that your not alone(37:36), thus making you want to run away. But horror is realizing you are now trapped(39:30), awaiting the terror to eventually catch you.
The fact that they got a lot of the details from the actual mall is insane. I really gotta give to Kane that this is the most detailed 3d set that I have currently seen. I really do hope that they can continue with this amazing work 😁👍👍👍
A member from Kanes team actually visited the abandoned mall to map it out geometrically. Wendigoon did a reaction of the series, and during the video Alex (creator of Mandela Catalog) and Kane joined on a voice call, it’s a really interesting watch as at the end Kane goes over his inspiration and real footage of the mall and the statue
Finally this series gaining more popularity, ive been waiting for people to watch this masterpiece for a while, tho i understand waiting for more episodes to come out for the content.
I remember watching this for the first time the day it came out and thinking "Phew, surely there's no way that big statue can fit through that door." and then I heard the glass shattering at 51:34 and I burst out laughing.
Cool detail. Right before the main guy opened the door to see the mall had collapsed there was a poster that wasn’t there before that said “Do you except this impermanence?”
Fun fact: The rolling giant is based on the guy in the beginning of the "renewal" video. and he was a real man once. as a botany studying life of plants while writing it in his journal to study. and the giant points to the protagonist as him taking his place. as a frame of two dead people and one dead horse. meaning useless and saying he is dead and for the protagonist to take his place. for wyatt, he is scared and runs towards the escalator before this happens, and the parade of giants are in the shadows watching until the lights turn on to reveal themselves. and the parade of giants is a real thing in real life, the mall is real but is now demolished, and the giant. the giant is real. wyatt.........................................................is.......................a.............................................................................................................................Botanist
There were two dead horses.
@@Conorator "useless as a dead horse"
90% of that was fun fact and the last 10% was a theory.
@@zefio4266Wyatt having been studying to become a botanist but changing to business is literally stated in the series
This whole reaction video not only taught me what 'non-diagetic' means, but also explained why you should never go alone anywhere down a random staircase thousands of feet underground lol
Awesome videos as always, love your reactions! This series is amazing as well, and I can't wait to see if more will be added with this whole underground mall idea. Legitimately terrifying and kept me on the edge of my seat. I think it's my favorite horror video online right now at the moment, frankly.

True, should have some back up plans and people with you
Same ngl it’s way scarier than the backrooms
The end of this video with the part of him falling to his death has now scarred me for life.
I always watch with CZcamsrs reacting to it to keep me company
Kane out here making a Netflix worthy series
I've been waiting for this! You and baz were like, my top hopes for reactions to this. Hope you do more looks into this, there's lots to unpack.
Being chased by a crippled entity as slow and yet strong as the rolling giant, is terrifying bro. We need a vr game based off his content, free roam or not.
I just found a new phobia, Thanks Kane
My volume was at max so I was scared half of the time
Ryan! Keep up the good work, dude! You're awesome!
Liked kane's backrooms series but im glad to see him do new things
Kane is such an outstanding and amazing content creator. Almost all of this was all in a 3D animated world. And he made content of over 1 hours worth of it.
Kane is a genius, he nailed the urban exploration youtube channels.

This whole statue thing gives me weeping angle vibes, where if you don’t look at it it moves so quickly, reminds me of SCP 173 as well but I love this idea

Speaking the truth🗣️💪
Hey Ryan, love your vids! I think the fear you were describing is called Bathmophobia. Could apply to the crevices in the stairs looking like your about to fall.
At 47:27 I'm not too sure but if you look near the top right at the tree, I think you can see the entity peek, then go back behind the tree
I love how tense this series made me!
