Ok, this is weird but, when I first looked at Aubrey in this podcast, this feeling was like, that's not him. Then afterwards, I felt so much paranoia like wtf is going on... I don't actually believe that, like my mind creating stories, but there was a very odd feeling and I'm so curious what's going on there... I've learned that feelings are there for a reason and have truths, but the mind takes it and twists and deforms stuff. Maybe it was a projection...
This was such an epic podcast. I tried watching someone interview Aubrey from 4 years ago, and wow. It's beautiful and magical and amazing to see the transformation. I feel inspired by the energetic resonance of your leadership 💞
So beautiful. Cancel culture can be cancelled. As a "highly sensitive person" (hate labels) but for someone who feels very deeply. The light and the dark. Not everyone accepts my darkness. But I accept it. Love Rumi🌊
would love to hear more about how to come to terms with the fact your partner is turned on by someone else. i'm trying to understand what perspective seeing that truth in enables a sense of acceptance and peace, rather than constriction, denial, jealousy, and shutting out? Also, if eros is shared between many people, what is the distinction between the eros shared between multiple lovers and the eros between the primary partners? how to trust that eros your partner plays in with others isn't encroaching on the sacredness of your union?
I feel like it is the choice, the choice to commit to someone, over and over again. and how he said, finding that excitement for the new, fresh, sexy in your partner over and over again. Forgiving and integrating the parts in yourself that seem to be a contradiction to how you feel consciously and then choosing differently until it becomes the new normal and natural. Allowing oneself to fail on the way and let the love be bigger than the fear. I love Stefanos Sifandos perspective of it, he talks a lot about agreements, communication, responsibility of yourself and the partnership as well as healing past wounds and learning to advocate for your needs. I am currently also working on this, but coming from the other side of not being jealous at all, asking myself if there is something wrong with me, wanting to let go fast and shifting to commitment, by allowing myself to be myself and express my needs and checking in with my partner. It can only work though if your partner also wants to do the work and you go at it as a team, realizing you always need two for a relationship, because if you work on it by yourself and your partner stays the same or doesn't want to evolve its going to hurt a lot. Ask yourself what you want, and realize you deserve it. 💕 Hope that made sense, sending love from Germany.♥

A quick comment regarding the sweat lodge. I'm sure there are many teachings and ceremonies for sweats buy I've been involved in a Cree Sweat ceremony for a few months now and it was explained to me the reason women don't go into the lodge during their moon is because during that time women are directly connected to source and our prayers will be heard over everyone else that's praying in the lodge. Which I'm told is a similar reason women aren't supposed to attend mosque during their moon as they're powerful.

One of the sentences you chose is what I don't agree with Aubrey. If you call it badness and you preffer goodness, how is it not going to be repressed? A part of him sees that everything is ok, but he is not willing yet to blow up these boundaries he talks about, these boundaries are preventing expression. They don't blow up as soon as you are willing, but being willing to leave them is not resisting this long process of dying we are going through. He sais I don't want a world that is all good. My personal definition of bad is "what I don't want".

Im not sure how i feel on this. Complete gratitude for open and honest conversation and i totally appreciate different things work for different couples so I have no judgement.
For me, marriage is sacred, its a divine union between two people who have chosen to be together. Just as all things ebb and flow in life, so does our relationships. I feel it is unrealistic to expect that passion is a constant. Its a choice to keep showing up for each other, to be faithful through a strong moral compass opposed to saying well she/he didnt give it up enough so i had to cheat. We give each other space, we make time for the other person, we choose to show up for them.
I do appreciate your perspectives and it has definitely given me things to think on.

I have been around and lived with people that had that lifestyle, I saw a lot of chaos , pain, broken hearts and men with big smiles on their faces, that they could just hump around freely with multiple women. Not bound by any real commitment, guilt or shame in the name of love and spirituality. The men I witnessed benefit massively by this arrangement. I'm sure it can be done with maturity, complete honesty and respect, but haven't come across it yet myself. Everyone has their own path and free will to experiment.
