Since the last one year I have been searching for this information and nobody has shared it. Infact for lack of it , I have stopped using the brush cutter. Now tomorrow I will once again try it taking your tip of using full throttle. I was using the throttle like driving a car in the city limits, just 30- 40 percent of power, with the result that nothing was getting cut. I was scared to give more throttle and nobody guided me. Thank you very much. Hopefully my grass cutter will now be used.
Dude thank you! The line in water trick is worth the weight in gold, this will even rejuvenate your old line if it was lying around. Also thanks for explaining the need for full throttle!
There are only two positions, idle and full throttle, wow i didn’t know that. But what if i don’t need to open full throttle? What if its small lawn grass am cutting and dont need all that power ?
What brushcutter trousers do you recommend? I know Husqvarna sells one with some padding around the right hip but I can't find any other company doing that, so is it really needed?
Hi Ben, The padding is helpful when you have to deal with heavy throwing objects such like small stones, glass or when you work with a mulch blade. I have the one from Husqvarna as well, they are good. I also have the one from Echo, they are also good and they have the padding as well. (3mm padding) they are fitting slightly better than the Husqvarna's. And I've also tried the SIP protection trousers they are very much in line with the 2 here above.
@@JanMaesOutdoorTraining Thanks for the reply, what I meant was is there specifically padding around the right hip where the machine rests against you?
always...and I mean Always ask your wife first before starting your manly "lets cut everything" thoughts... trust me...should actually be a part of PPE and the instruction manual
