Apollo IE Intensa Emozione demo laps at Monza Circuit: OnBoard, Accelerations, Crackles & Sound!

- Thanks to the incredible availability of the Apollo Automobil guys, I'm pleased to share with you some on board and track-side footage of their great sounding Intensa Emozione in action at Monza Circuit for some demo laps during the recent Milano-Monza ''MiMo'' Motorshow.
Developed together with HWA AG, the Apollo IE is powered by a 6.3-liter naturally aspirated V12 engine able to produce around 780 hp and which is linked to a 6-speed sequential manual transmission by Hewland. During the event this Intensa Emozione was used for passenger rides and it was fitted with Michelin Cup 2 R tyres and carbo-ceramic brakes for road use.

The marketing for EVs is all smoke and mirrors. Put an EV on this track, anyone you'd care to mention and this car, or pretty much any other high performance sports car, will leave it for dust. EVs can't do corners.

This is violence on another level. Suspension stiff enough to hold up the Golden Gate Bridge and shifts are like a horse kicking you in the nuts.

5 years ago because Bozzy uploaded the video on this thing, doing flat outs on an empty Airport strip. And now this video, seems to me as a reunion of what the Apollo I.E is truly meant for, rather than the rest 9 out of 10 them sitting in the garage of the riches.
I was thinking about the same while I was editing the video. It has been such a long journey but it was worth the wait

That's why I think building a supercar transcends the limits of science and becomes an art. As an engineering passionate, I personally think racing and sportscar engineers are artists.

I saw it used a modified Ferrari F140FE 6.3 N/A V12. I would love to know more about this particular engine.
Don't get me wrong, the howling v12 sounds great, but I'm still missing the deep-toned rumble of the old Audi V8

It's a Ferrari V12, it will sound good, T.50 is on par though.

@@joe125ful Not necessarily. The LFA had a 4.8L V10 engine and it sounded better than some of the big V8 engines. Engine displacement has no effect on sound as long as the exhaust system is good enough. The T.50 at higher rpms sounds fantastic.
@@steven_taylor_ Generaly Italian V12/V8/V10 sounds best.
Ferrari Roma sounds like big muscle car. Aventador SVJ with Gintany exhaust is pure hell and even stock one sounds sooo good.
FXX or Vulcan are same story big V12 and that ear tearing sound.
Coolest sound V10 sound have Sesto Elemento to me.
Lfa is good but when meat Huracan its hell too because i hear stock and GT3 one.
@@joe125ful SVJ with Gintani is just loud like a tractor, doesn't have the quality and aural pleasure of the 1lr-gue V10 LFA engine, the Huracan or Sesto Elemento is nowhere near the LFA's engine, it's even behind the CGT's V10 and even the BMW's and Dodge's V10 sound better. Rest is okay.
Why not slick tires? The track doesn`t allow it ?
