The exhaust pipe on d right gets in the way of your leg when put down. It doesn't make sense in stop-go traffic when exhaust gets heated. It's v risky. Not good.
When we consider Indian roads, Vulcan S would be a wiser choice (in my personal opinion). Vulcan is almost similarly priced with the Street 750 but you get ABS as standard, better breaks and a very comfortable riding position in the Vulcan. The Vulcan seats though, it require a bit more cushioning if you’re considering long journeys. Kawasaki engine is a bit more reliable than Harley’s but I have to say that the Street Rod V-twin’s exhaust note sounds a lot better than the Vulcun’s parallel twin, as well as Street 750’s exhaust note. A good sounding exhaust upgrade for the Vulcan would cost you around 85k (Akrapovic) at the moment. If you got that kinda money, then the issue regarding the exhaust note is solved. Also the Kawasaki accessories cost more since almost all the parts are imported at the moment. Harley has an advantage over the parts and its cost. That being said, Harley Davidson is a Harley Davidson. If you’re a Harley fan, no matter how unergonomically the footpegs are placed or how frustrating the heat from the engine is, you’ll buy it and you won’t regret it. Therefore, if you’re cosidering the Street 750 and Street Rod, go for the Street Rod. The extra cash you spend is worth it. You’re spending the cash for ABS, better breaks, slighter better engine and engine noise, last but not least, better looks!
I have to give Harley credit for having the guts to introduce the rod in India where they have way less cult following. Can't imagine anyone going for it for sport feel when other way better motorcycles are available in that price range.

The worst things about the bike are footpegs position, heat dissipation and thigh touching upper cowl....you cannot excuse these bcoz every time you take the bike on they irritate you...perpetual irritation is guaranteed and the price is not at all promising...a useless product at that price point in my point of view

Yes they are slightly different. I guess it is better to go for the Street Rod instead of street 750.
750 street = 47bhp
750 rod = 70 bhp

The brake are actually quite efficient.
Breaks are good but saddle height is a but too low. Ir the foot pegs are oddly positioned you actually sit hemmed in on the bike.
